05/3/2019 18:57 | Hi Pugugly, I am sorry to disappoint you as I did not take that many - so maybe the overhang is gone now ? I took 420k@3.45p but still not showing up. The market is dire and companies are being punished really hard if the expectations are not being met. Let's see how things pan out, but LID looks promising overall but will need a couple of years IMHO before it starts cruising. I like the business model as it reminds me of ARC - a decent sized hold for me. Good luck with your investments :) | multibagger

05/3/2019 14:47 | Buywell Not sure why you continue to try and wind up the DEMG holders. Edwards are the competition in the USA and HUP is a strategy to compete with Edwards. Deltex got past its 30 platform accounts a couple of years ago and neither you nor we have any idea how many it has today or if LID is getting anywhere near those accounts. Not sure why it should be as it should be targeting accounts where Edwards have done all the uphill elephant pushing to establish high users. You say in the header to your new thread that LID's USA sales are rising fast. Per their trading update last year's US sales were GBP1.38m, an increase of GBP0.02m over the prior year of GBP1.36m, which I make a growth rate of 1% which is not fast. I have taken the time to read the Australian paper you referred to it as its freely available online. It is a study of 8 young white male healthy volunteers, aka doctors? The authors do not even try to comment on the Lidco device detecting a 2.5% blood loss, so your claims are fanciful, but interesting to note that blood pressure also fell at that tiny level of blood loss as Lidco measures blood pressure. But blood pressure did not fall again. Also, the 2.5% was highlighted because that was when the Lidco device showed a significant change but it is highly unlikely that there was a real significant change at that level in these subjects so this may well be evidence of Lidco being less not more accurate. When they re-infused the blood, Lidco only showed a significant change after 15% of total volume put back in. Does this suggest it is six times better in one direction than the other? The Deltex device actually did pretty well and was clearly good enough to see a 10% change in both directions. "The only variable to change significantlyfrom baseline apart from SV was peak velocity, asmeasured by the CardioQ; this fell from 116.2 cm.s1to106 cm.s1 after 10% blood loss" "Thefirst statistically signifi-cant increase in SV was seen after 10% blood had been re-infused with the CardioQ". This 10% is crucial as that is the cut-off point for intervention in the stroke volume optimisation trials. Deltex have stacks of evidence using this 10% change in surgery and it is overwhelmingly positive. Lidco also have stacks of evidence using this 10% change in surgery and none of it is positive. If you must keep on trying to start a war on DEMG, do please start to pick your battles. LID have their strengths, are good for monitoring but not great for fine-tuning when it matters and HUP is a good idea with which to take on Edwards in Edwards' home market. And as of today they seem to have made a strong appointment of a new CFO. | schloo

05/3/2019 14:08 | Hi buywell2, I have taken a small position fairly early this morning (not yet published)as I feel that the downside risk is quite low and market seems to be misreading/not willing to be patient for long enough. I did invest a few years ago after attending a Sharesoc meeting where Matt Sassone presented, but sold out eventually at a loss. The business model and growth prospects as you have set out is interesting. We could also have a takeover bid. Given the cashburn, do you think a fund raise would be on the cards in the next 3-6 months ? TIA, good luck all :) | multibagger

04/3/2019 22:24 | Yes buywell a distressed seller not an investor losing faith in Lidco, it just happened to be the distressed institution City Financial. | 7767
04/3/2019 19:00 | I concur - Buywell how many did you pick up? City Financial appear to have been the forced seller of some 4.768 million at 2.75p of which the bulk found homes at 3.30 3.32p and 3.4p still probably a few around if you want some. Nice money for the MM - They held 5,768,258 at 31/10/18 Or was the late mark of the 4,678M and the 2 marks of 1.4 million (which I take as buys) a late mark from Friday - this would suggest taht all the alogro attributed sells on Friday were probably buys - at 3.3.. | pugugly

04/3/2019 17:04 | Buywell, I must congratulate you on a magnificent achievement. The share price was wobbling and generally dropping to a value of 4p. Now you have started a new thread and the price has immediately lurched sickeningly to below 3.5p. Hooray! | arf dysg

04/3/2019 15:53 | buywell Have you been to any of their shareholder open meetings?? ps Like your long intro we just have to be patient and not a patient. | 7767
04/3/2019 15:32 | I do not think it is an Institution as they normally are in for the long term and I believe Lid has good long term prospects, BUT if they were being held with some sort of covenant that precludes them from holding below a certain level then they have to sell. | 7767

04/3/2019 14:51 | It appears the distressed seller has gone (i sincerely hope) but it looks like the mm's are struggling to place the stock so I don't see an upward movement yet unless Matt Sassone comes out with a positive RNS soon. DYO | 7767

04/3/2019 13:38 | Oh dear BuywellNew thread but same nonsense. Interesting chart though. Are you sure you meant to post it? DEMG is back on the up now that market has accepted US will be slower than hoped and after a destructive fundraising at a very low price but now looking cash positive. LID is sliding as it is 2 or 3 years behind DEMG on copycat approach to US so market only just starting to worry that US progress is slower than hoped. Soon, as LID is burning lots of cash, it might worry about need for more cash. Worse still, they may need more cash and have to do something at a very low priceAnyway Edwards are the US market leader and LID's main competition in US. DEMG is barely relevant to LID's prospects over thereMrC | mrc2u
