24/3/2014 23:56 | From the LEN bb. ultrapunch 24 Mar'14 - 23:54 - 488 of 488 0 0 edit One thing todays results RNS from LRL has clarified is LEN's current cash balance. The US$25m TW mentioned in his recent ShareProphets article (he interviewed PA) is definitely correct!! The LRL results to 31/12/13 detail the assets and liabilities of the demerged LEN at 31/12/13. The cash was US$33.120m and the trade and other payables was US$7.726m. Subtract US$7.726m from US$33.120m and you get US$25.4m. So the US$25m quoted by TW was correct. You were right RCT. So all that talk of US$5m, back in October 2012, to drill and test 3 wells on Zijinshan was just so much b*llocks. Typical of PA. PA's total renumeration for 2013 was around US$0.75m!! That's obscene. US$750k to run a tinpot explorer!! That's around 3 times the Prime Ministers salary. TW moans about the excessive, obscene, salaries the likes of the GKP and RRL top man receives, but doesn't mention the obscene salary his mate PA gets for running an even smaller company!! These AIM explorers are just being run for the benefit of the Directors. So they can draw fat cat salaries for managing tinpot exploration companies. How much work could running a company the size of LRL entail? I'd hazard a guess at NOT VERY MUCH!! | ultrapunch | |
