Positive news in the interims just out:

Further to the announcement dated 16 September 2016 relating to the possible acquisition of Nuformix Limited, the Company can confirm that the Acquisition is at an advanced stage, subject to the completion of documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Otherwise nothing of much interest in the interims -presumably why they are released today!

Good to see that the possible RTO is still announced on the Nuformix Limited website.
If the negotiations had foundered I surmise that Nuformix would have deleted the details.

Hopefully a further announcement b4 Christmas?

thirdmnharry - many thanks though what a depressing read though maybe shareprophets has an agenda of which I am not aware..

When the possible RTO was announced by LVRT, the share price headed N and I sold half b4 suspension to take some gains
given huge problems experienced previously with some other small AIM cos.

Hopefully the remaining half of LVRT will show an even better gain if the RTO goes ahead but if not, then overall given the points made above still a gain just about.

One would expect news to be very close as we come up to the 3 month mark. Maybe tomorrow or next week at the latest.

Two months - I cannot count!

The suspension rns includes:

"The Company intends to convene a General Meeting as soon as practicable in order to seek the shareholder approvals necessary to pursue this opportunity. It should also be noted that if the Acquisition proceeds, further shareholder consent may also be required including to deal with any applicable requirements of the Takeover Code."

Presumably trading can resume if agreement on the rt/o is agreed even pending the sgm etc.

Tranilast has worldwide sales in its original form in the 100s of millions.
