16/7/2004 10:18 | another reversal taking place - be interesting to see which way from here | philjh
16/7/2004 09:21 | ........and again its on the up - wish I coud work out what I'm missing on this one - just continues to defy logic | philjh
15/7/2004 20:27 | Why should this be onwards & upwards. More like hot-air & hope if you ask me. There are absolutely no fundamentals to support this price. I was lucky. I bought @2.5p & sold @15p. Alright if you can get it but too risky to hang onto at that level. (Unlike the gentleman who was looking forward to some extra hols at least I'll get a new merc out of this (I had a lot!!) | jakaranda99
15/7/2004 14:56 | So hopefully that means that the big sellers are out of the way for now and it's upwards and onwards from here. BTW thanks for all the informative posts with all your views and speculation. Keep it up. | optimistic punter

15/7/2004 13:59 | don't shaun - if you've made a decent profit be happy with it - I'm sure all who've been in this the last few days have wondered what on earth there was to support the share price - nothing's changed even if the price has recovered slightly | philjh
15/7/2004 10:53 | i am happy that i am out, a small profit made more than sticking it in the bank. Cheers Terry. I am going to wait until the egm and then have another look. | shaunoneill
15/7/2004 10:28 | I'd put the 1 million this morning as a sell but could be wrong - the bid dropped off soon afterwards | philjh
15/7/2004 10:26 | The main problem is we retail are totally in the dark and it appears the big boys - 1 mill buys have knowledge more likely an angle. (7% - 7 million bought at 16 last 2 days.) and I suspect a 1 million buy today at 13. Personally I think this stinks - maybe the con is buy enough shares to secure voting rights by Ramsdens consortium hence they can award themselves the 80 million share at 3p - pump even higher and then dump their 80 million at say 15p - the question is who will buy them. No logic supports this share price - it is a shell with no assetts. This will be the biggest short this year - but with 3 MM controlling/ and undoutably Ramsdens consortium protecting there options (at well above NAV even before dilution). How high will this go ? | merrickman
15/7/2004 10:15 | Morning, and I thought the days of Birchin, Minmet, OFU et al were long gone! Tom W was a prime mover in those days with show me the money and has offered advice on LPY. This little saga looks like it may yet have some legs.......... | lrguk

15/7/2004 10:04 | price has ticked up in last few minutes but still think it'd take a brave man to buy in now someone yesterday pasted a news link re the court case re Murray - is there a similar report anywhere today that someone may know the link for? | philjh
15/7/2004 09:57 | Here she blows ! bought at 3p, out at 15.5p. Thank you very much Terry ! Now the big boys will buy back as she falls.. Then watch what happens ....... | dglen
15/7/2004 09:37 | Merrickman - yes just had a weird inkling that it had stalled and felt that if/when the floodgates opened it'd fall quickly as others fled for the exits ........ but still can't get away from the fact as you say that that there have been massive buys the last day or 2 by (we imagine) others who are better informed than us - yes I'd thought when I sold 'can always get back in' ...... but on fundamentals who'd want to even allowing for todays drop | philjh
15/7/2004 09:31 | Phil I bet your a happy bunny this morning - looks like a good call off loading. The question is who now has the balls to buy back again. (last 2 days have seen 7 million (7%) of share bought at 16p. Personally sticking with my shorts but still like most question who and why are the big buys. Like they say if it smells like it it usually is. | merrickman
