if CfA borrow 50m from bond holders at 4percent, how does that add 50m to the value of CfA.

Answer... it doesn't
CfA will use the money they borrow to lend to start up firms.

The profit they make is the difference between the interest rate that they borrow it at, and the interest rate that they lend it at.

All of this depends on the start up firms being able to pay back the money they have borrowed from CfA.

This is something that isn't difficult to understand
