I sent an email to the UK contact address on the legacy website www.tavistock.co.uk
This is the reply i got
"I am afraid that due to market regulations I cannot provide much more information. Legacy's shares are suspended pending clarification of their financial position. Once this has been investigated, an announcement will be made to the stock exchange and the shares should be re listed".

Also sent one to FrankP@bestcandyco.com
No reply as of yet. From what i can gather the company is still in operation so we live in hope.
Shaun.

Maybe the bank concerned with ldg is J.P.Morgan,cant remember.
If they were all classified as a bunch rankers, Im sure Jonathan Ross
would have the correct pronunciation.

I bought £3K of ldg from pc during March. Tried to sell at 16p in July, but they did not come back to me.
All my dealings are with Ian Bellis of pc.Was told they were
going up.He tried to sell me more stock during the summer.
If any one has a course of action count me in.
He told me on the phone yesterday, that ldg were changing their bankers to
Morgan Stanley ?????????????
What about the divi.

I attempted to sell 3 weeks ago was told by PC that there were diffilcuties in selling and was advised to hang in but they would ring back after discussing with senior adviser the best price available. They didn't!

Wiganer, one advantage of OTC shares, they don't go suspended"

Yes, but some of them become so illiquid that they may as well be suspended. There are lots of OTC/Pink Sheet Stocks around where the most you could sell in one go would realise less sale proceeds than the trade fee.

Any holders of this stock who are considering pursuing a case would be wise, I think, to save the whole thread to their hard drive:

Wiganer, one advantage of OTC shares, they don't go suspended!

Even when presented with the worse news it is possible to trade your way out of losses. I often wonder what to purpose of suspension is for small companies, Institutional fund raising?..debt negotiation?, none of which benefit existing holders. The shares mite as well continue trading.

Loverat, Jaknife's post #69 suggests a determined approach stands an excellent chance of success.
And there's enough research here (esp. from Crosstalk ) to help any holder with ammo and information.

It seems investors have been led up the garden path again by Pacific Continental. Are they answerable to anyone?

It doesn't show on the graph, but click on a news item and the pre-suspension quote is given as 1p (!)

To be fair, I find that Pac Con do help take the guess work out my investments.

If they are involved I avoid.

No guess work needed at all....

It depends what you mean by "US-listed stock".
The US OTCBB and Pink Sheets markets are even worse than AIM. For some examples of the scams on these markets, trawl the archives of www.stocklemon.com, for example.
I suspect some of the folks behind the dodgier AIM companies cut their teeth in the US OTCBB/Pink Sheets scammers kindergarten.
