08/12/2006 11:35 | Oh dear this suspension doesn't look like good news! My sympathies to those persuaded to buy this stock by Pacific Continental Securities. I have been warning about this company since March, see posts 4, 6, 8, 22, 24, 26 and 36. In posts 22 and 36 I suggested that some posters on this board had grounds for complaint against Pac Con Sec for providing misleading, incorrect and false information as an inducement to buy shares. I invited corrections to the information given and conclusions drawn in my posts, but I don't see any. In April I wrote twice to the FSA with a complaint about Pac Con Sec concerning its promotion of this company and I'm not a shareholder. I would urge any shareholder who thinks they were misled and was persuaded by Pac Con Sec to buy these shares to complain, to PCS, then the Financial Ombudsman and send copies to the FSA. Pac Con Sec (inc Steven Griggs) refused to answer some of my questions about the inconsistencies in published documentation. For example: in the admission document Pac Con Sec sent me George Aliferis was shown as a 41% shareholder and the PCS salesman said they were acting as agent, but in another document - - there appeared "Pacific Continental Securities Nominees Ltd 41.00%" and George Aliferis was not mentioned. Did Pac Con Sec tell you that they were a major shareholder acting as principal? If not, this may also be a reason for complaint. Here is my complete list of links to press reports about Pac Con Sec which may be of interest to people who are not aware of them: £5,000 shares lost in US vanishing trick 12 November 2004 Same old wine scam with different labels 22 November 2004 Broker's £100,000 buys silence 19 June 2005 Readers lose thousands to 'boiler rooms' 12 March 2006 [There are 2 pages to this last article, click on link at bottom of page] All deals are risky with this broker 23 July 2006 Suicidal over £100,000 of Pacific Continental's tips 11 September 2006 Junk shares sales pitch caught on tape 1 October 2006 Broker 'out of control' 15 October 2006 If anyone is aware of others please post them here. 08/12/2006 09:54 | What's worse than CRT is that there was absolutely no warning of this. Look at the introduction to their Interim results announced in September: DELIVERING THE GOODS Legacy Distribution Group, Inc., (AIM: LDG), the Arizona based wholesaler and distributor of tobacco and grocery products to the convenience store market, today announces its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2006. The results show a significant improvement over 2005 and solid progress made in the implementation of the Company's strategy for growth. Of course, I suppose all the shareholders were miles away from the 'action' so there was little or no insider dealing. Mind, I suppose 'clarify our financial position' could mean they've struck oil under their depot. Somehow I doubt it. | jonwig

08/12/2006 07:52 | The Company has today requested and been granted a suspension of the trading in its shares pending clarification of its financial position. Nuff said? | jonwig

21/11/2006 15:19 | JakNife, (post #54). Yes, I gather from earlier posts that PacCon are involved, and not all was as appeared. I think the first few posts on the thread were pretty informative (eg. Crosstalk's), with some unanswered questions. | jonwig

20/11/2006 18:38 | JakNife, ... you seem to attract stalkers. I won't moderate their posts, as it's good for readers to be reminded of the quality of the opposition. And if they're holders of LDG, well!! | jonwig
