Rumours rumours rumours...........
I heard Lapp Plats are raising funds at 20p to fund a deal. Should be announced within 2 weeks and expected to push share to 22/23p
Nothing amazing about this if it happens !!
Anyone else heard anything??

There is an interesting full page article in the current edition of the Phoenix magazine. Very positive about the recent appointments but not too positive about the future funding issues and share price.......yikes !!!

Unfortunately Lapp Plats are going to have to deliver on the rumours before we see the share price heading the opposite way ... role on September

Financing is not an issue apparently Peter Worthington already has backers

The deal has been put together (including financing) outside of Lapp Plats, the only interest Peter Worthington has in Lapp Plats is to get a fast tracked London listing, he needs to close on this deal very soon and doesn't have time to list a new vehicle on AIM

From what I hear Peter Worthington was ready to buy out major shareholders at the current offer price to take control of Lapp Plats, but they declined his offer and will remain shareholders and are currently negotiating terms like share price for the funding

The word is that this really is a corker of a deal and that Lapp Plats have lucked into it simply because Peter Worthington needs a listed vehicle in a hurry and Lapp Plats is his only option

impatient is an understatement deckav, its got to be nearly 3 years I've been stuck in this stock!

There are only two things keeping me from selling ...

1) I've got to many shares to sell and at 1,000 a day it would take me a life time to off load my position :-)

2) and more importantly I have from a very very reliable source that the ordeal is nearly over and that Peter Worthington the new CEO is our saviour

They have a deal that they should be announcing soon, but I'm being told end of September now (and not July as I mentioned before)

Its oil and its in Africa and its a good block

who ever sold 5000 @ 17p, you only had to wait another month, if my feelings
are right, the deal they are doing may have been offered to garry moore of
Gold oil, he e mailed me a while back and said he been offered a very good deal
in africa but due to commitments in south america and there nomad wouldn't play ball he had passed it on to friends of his who ran another company
he didn't name the company but I believe it could be lapp platts.

That's the first piece of news I have been waiting for and confirms to me that the second piece of news should be out around mid July

I'm led to believe that Peter Worthington and his team are currently dotting the "i"'s and crossing the "t"'s on an oil deal, that will be announced very soon

Sombody of Peter's ambition and calibre doesn't join a small cap unless something big is about to happen

news by end of june, results due, hopefully the wait will be fruitfull, there
are not many companies with such low market capital and cash, so i wonder if they sold off mineral side, they would be ripe for a reverse takeover
