I certainly have, and they seem to be banking all their hopes on their BAM gold prospect. They have been drilling hole after hole there, and so it will go on.Ask yourself this question are they any nearer to producing a mine? Also, how long will the current BOD stay on?

Being a long term holder, they will inevitably resort to placings to fund their projects. This will cause yet more dilution. I have seen my shares tumble to a fraction of what I paid for them which would be now in the region of £3.Yes they have interesting prospects, but anyone who thinks this company will behave differently in financing their operations, is like asking a leopard to change its spots.

IG do not facilitate short positions here

There are several more highly valued gold companies on the LSE when comparing mkt cap to Moz resources....plenty easier targets to go short on.

as commented by others...lets see where we are come June

Mall declare yr short position (not amounts) and we'll compare notes in June when cash runs out... or before if necessary.

It seems to me that all there is here are some soil samples and 30 holes in the ground ... showing 1.02 grammes per tonne.

A fool and their money as they say .... my advice is get out quick and wait for the next funding round. If you like gold , do what Warren Buffet did ... buy Barrick Gold ! Nice divi with that one too.

Re the cash burn ...

I've just looked up the 6 month report issued end sept 2020 ....

The loss for the 6 month period was almost £700k . This included £120k for drilling costs !!

Those Directors are paying themselves nicely !

mallorca,

Whilst no revenues currently they are (imo) proving up the resource ahead of a Company sale (given the age of the Board)....the current drill results being released over the next few weeks will highlight the extent of the resource present.

I assume you also take issue with the Align and Cenkos research notes over the past two weeks?

...and also I assume you are obscenely short in GGP then given their current revenues v. market valuation??

plus to me LND's share price is "on the floor" at less than 2p (pre consolidation). Especially when you consider it launched on AIM at circa 7p and CEO bought on open market at 16.5p albeit some time back.

I'll be very surprised if this doesn't quickly retrace to around 20p.

I'm wondering what the next placing price will be and how much that will raise.

Didn't they have 3 placings in a 6 month period last year !
I take it then that cash burn must be high !!

How many Directors are drawing a salary from this ?
With zero revenue that is where the money raised is going ?

Don't dispute your point about some directors milking it nor shareholders often get shafted with AIM stock.

You are wrong though about 2 year wait for economic assessment. They have already published a lengthy 300 page (from memory) PEA which has also benefited from being updated.

lochlea,

yes i saw that .....

In my experience what that means is years of dilution to pay the directors salaries then ... with the share price now at around 5p, they will sell out to a bigger company , netting themselves lucrative future share options. Happens every time.

Shareholders usually shafted in AIM.

These companies are structured to provide a nice salary for the directors !

Get out quick !

Gent's I am genuinely interested how this works as an investment ?

Revenue is zero.

It will be about two more years just to get the results of an economic assessment for a potential mine.

This is the sort of share that you can easily find yourself trapped in for years.
Some will also add to this by making the mistake of averaging down as they dilute.

This is a disaster waiting to happen.

I really would sell today !!

I am genuinely puzzled .... the current drilling campaign ends in April and the cash runs out at about the same time ...... they have to raise funds again ... right !!

Also what is the long term plan here .... are they going to build a gold mine .... that takes years and costs £100's m.

Also the grades are poor .... 1.02 grammes per tonne !

I'd say that the Directors will milk this for the next 5 years .... continually going to market to fund their salaries, and will then disappear.

By then the share price is likely to be single digit pence.
