Oh my geologist friend commented that the bit that caught his "Eye" was that Landore might have found a "Swarm" of quartz veins which is rare but might carry substantial amounts of gold, if we are lucky!

So lots of work to do for Landore to do over the summer ahead of the next drilling campaign. They will be much better informed as to what sort of "Animal" they have by 1st of October when the ground starts to get hard.

Fingers crossed.

I think you must be confused those weren't "Good News" they just drilled the existing known mineralised zones which unsurprisingly came back with exactly what they had purchased.

On the back of that their stock went no where.

It would have been a shock if it was anything else, it was just an audit check.

Hopefully they can add some real value in the months to come.

Ardiden must think all their Christmases have come at once when they have purchased the Root Lake Lithium property from LND.On the 22-06-16 they reported" outstanding grades of up to 3.1% lithium oxide returned from analysis of 151 core samples-overall average lithium grade at 1.3%." What vision from our esteemed BOD.A crushing disappointment for the shareholders here.

I all just had a day out in London on my other Thunder Bay investment, its quoted in Canada, so probably of little interest to many people here.

Anyway that was a cracking LND announcement and yes it got hammered by profit takers but given some of that money was in at 1p on their last placing who can blame them on a 200% return in less than 12 months.

Its been a long while since I had one of those, a very long while!

Anyway on to the "Good bits" beyond the drill holes.

Firstly they are now off trenching east and west of the BAM gold zone. Thats cheap exploration happening at the perfect time of year.

"The trenching and channel sampling programme will be continued along the 2.7 kilometre, east-southeast to west-northwest trending MM-7 in H2 2016."

So the BAM zone is 400m long currently and they have another 2.3 KM of potential strike. Who knows what they might get, maybe nothing? But maybe a whole lot more than nothing? We will see.

The other thing that caught my eye was this statement:

"The gold mineralisation revealed to-date is predominantly contained in the metasediments, with some gold mineralisation occurring in the leucogabbro rocks."

Firstly I would not know what a "leucogabbro" mafic is if I fell over it.

But based on my MNDM government area map "Bedrock geology of Ontario" Map 2542 almost the whole of the Landore land package looks to be made of similar mafic bed rock.

My conclusion is that they will have a couple of geologists out there scouring the whole project for gold over the summer, which they can then trench very easily if they feel inclined to do so.

Just my guess of course, but its very cheap exploration and will give them a bunch of new targets if "God smiles on them."

So grounds for optimism? I would say very much so. Any promises absolutely not but if you are looking for promises go buy a FTSE Tracker. Investing in small exploration stocks is not for the "Tender Hearted", it can be brutal, but also rewarding occasionally.

Oh just for those who might be interested re that company I follow in Canada? It doesn't on first sight appear to have any of those "leucogabbro" mafic units according to that map. Hey ho, but we will look anyway because the map is a large scale one so you never know.

Can't say I know the history of the company too well although they do seemed to have proven up the nickel resource, just as nickel /commodities slumped. I did note the admin expenses halved on year ending 15 compared to Y/E 2014, and that 'the Directors agreed, with effect from 1st July 2015 to reduce their overall remuneration from £270,000 pa to £137,500 pa'.

I've lost out previously on junior explorers, GGG being my worst, but my reason for investing are
that LND had previous 'significant' (lol) high grade gold assay results,
the latest one's continue with the high grades,
we know 6 of the other 11 not yet released assays have VG shows
there's a plan to drill more holes in Q4
and POG is on the up.

All that said, ya never know what will happen :)

"A significant gold discovery has been made at the Junior Lake property"

Don't they just love the use of the word 'significant'???

Hi Lochlea, only recently got into Landore so don't know the history too well, though it does look like it's gone in a similar pattern to many other junior explorers and yes it can be very frustrating. I'm quite heavy in Condor and that's been a bit of a long road. I am very impressed by the grades here so far and I'm thinking/hoping this could be a lot bigger than is currently appreciated. Looking fwd to the next assay results.

agree with you and I don't think anyone can doubt the exciting potential here.

Just gets a tad frustrating after so many years I thought we'd have reached an end game by now with one of the two main guys nearly 80 and the other been involved with 30 companies that have gone down the plughole. If you research quotes attributed to him back in 2005 you'll see in an interview he thought this would be sold on within 3-5 years as he couldn't tell one rock from another!!

DB will be highly encouraged imo by the visible gold results ,as he referred to most samples not having VG. I agree tho, it would be good to hear what he thinks.

Most BOD's are accused, and rightly so, of trousering way to much in wages and share options, par for the course I'm afraid, but the grades look pretty damned good on the core samples we've had so far, and with 900m of drilling still to do we are looking at another 14 or 15 drill holes to be reported.

10 out of the 15 had visible gold so we know at least another 6 are going to be very good. All bodes well if we are in the initial phases of a gold bull run.

Only they announced gold discovery some 8 years ago.

When the share price was performing at many, many multiples of today's price.

Since when........ it's been one share dilution after another, whilst the 2 main guys have trousered over £2 million between themselves in remuneration...... granted themselves zillions of share options........ none of which to best of my knowledge have ever been exercised.

Still they walk on water...........

I'm with you Glenn. Even if they had no intention of digging the stuff out the ground, they could sell the rights to the highest bidder. Anyone would think that it was expected to find it already processed into pretty ingots all crated up.
