Thank goodness I just bought a toe in position here whilst I awaited contract news. I'll be taking my allocation if Halifax give me the change, not that it amounts to much.
The tech looks good, just need to generate positive sales momentum.

Staying long, though not a big position, certainly not a conviction holding at this stage.

No great surprise. Shares being placed at a 30%+ premium to where we started the year. Dilution suggests market cap will be equivalent to where we were at 20.7p, but with a decent cash position. I will be taking up the offer. ATB

Holding a very marginal profit now. Tempted to walk away, but come this far.
Kind of felt something was coming, it spiked up on no real news.
For cup half full people, 15p is better than 12p, it could easily have been that IMO.
I might go for my 1:17 share, not entirely sure how to (!!)
I haven't been in these for that long, fine for now to see what 12 months brings.
Give me 20-25% in 12 months, not major, but would still be ok.
Cheers

I think there is great value in kmk unfortunately the ceo is a spender who can't resist a new idea and therefore this will only come out under a new ceo or takeover. I suspect miton saw through him and did not want to keep funding the ceo dreams. The poultry £2500 he is contributing in this placing says it all.

They made another BIG ANNOUNCEMENT last year about covid ventilators - a much simpler piece of kit.

Still a massive global need for ventilators.

Does ANYBODY know what's going on with the Kromek ventilator initiative and how many they have shipped?

ANYBODY??????

ALL IMO. DYOR.

This really is a no-brainier! What’s not to like about this pathogen detection technology of KMK’s.
Well done to all LTH’s. New 12 month highs are coming then the sky.

Interesting. Some material contract news and KMK likely goes north in a spectacular way, particularly in this type of market where all kinds of loss making and pre-revenue companies are on lofty valuations.

Will it happen? There appears to be encouraging news but you can never be sure with these speculative ones.

Further to previous post and from a short term trading perspective, price is now settling down into a range. It has been consolidating for a couple of weeks now so it becomes a more interesting watch.

There has been support under 20p with buyers coming in there and a break of 22p would be bullish on the upside so it becomes alot easier to approach when you can draw a couple of lines rather than adding in flags and various other technical lines - simple works the best alot of the time.

All imo

The recent mention of possible Asian customer looks like it could be India from this article.

India plans to buy radiation detection equipment to enhance internal security.

"The government has sought information from bidders on the experience from places the world over where RDE has been installed and is actually under use. The US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration, for example, has been helping many countries combat the smuggling of radioactive material at important international border crossing points"

Dougmachin,
I hadn't invested until a few days after that date you mention. Unfortunately near the peak before it fell again! Never easy, getting the timing right!?!
Yes I'm aware of the very lows but seans66 mentioned it had fallen below 10p in recent weeks.

And a small amount just sub 8p.
Also, wasn't that the day one of the directors got in for 8.2p...?

I've not seen reported before that a US Aircraft Carrier was out of action for 2 months ...but this is stated on page 5 of the Jan 2021 Apollo Report.

"Biological threats jeopardize national security. COVID-19 put a U.S. aircraft carrier out
of commission for two months, sent the Joint Chiefs of Staff into quarantine, breached
the White House, and hospitalized the Commander-in-Chief. The pandemic brightly
illuminates how our national security vulnerabilities increase and our deterrence
capabilities falter during biological events. Rogue states wishing to challenge American
primacy could take advantage of the Nation’s disease-stricken state to test our country’s
ability and willingness to maintain global order.

Some of the terms and technology mentioned in this article sound very supportive of Kromek's new bio detection programme.

"The Apollo Program for Biodefense — which at $10 billion annually would be a fraction of what the COVID-19 pandemic has cost — would create an environment in which “we detect and continually trace any new pathogen,........................................

The Apollo program for Biodefense addresses more than individual disease treatment. Its global scope of prevention includes a proposed national pathogen surveillance and forecasting center. Current infectious disease forecasting capabilities rely on data that may be unavailable for weeks. By “aggregating diverse data sources in real-time” researchers can forecast infectious disease outbreaks to further predict the likelihood of potential pandemics. Real-time monitoring means gathering information from “clinical molecular diagnostics, distributed sentinel surveillance, digital pathogen surveillance, laboratory biosafety monitoring, and animal and environmental pathogen surveillance.”
