19/1/2021 11:37 | Haha. Yes indeed. I suspect there are 2 or 3 of them, perhaps more. Imagine the conversation - "Sh1t.. perhaps the market is right and we aren't very good after all" :) | wigwammer
19/1/2021 11:01 | wiggy - every downtick is an expression of pain. Good to see, eh :¬) | supernumerary
19/1/2021 09:41 | Off we go again!?! That CEO interview very recently published, is really encouraging & promising. If it ' pans- out' like he suggests, leading up to next results, it'll be a multi- bagger! | davethechef
19/1/2021 08:42 | 20p within reach. 25p short term target. | philjeans
18/1/2021 11:40 | Well, at least we can see from the downticks that our not very talented friend is still watching :) | wigwammer
18/1/2021 11:29 | Definitely no reason why not, susieb. In fact it could go well above that in the not to distant future. | b00mb0y
18/1/2021 11:00 | I'd love to see these back in 30sNo reason why not imo | susiebe
18/1/2021 10:51 | It was a decent interview, suggesting that the AROC money may add to reserves this year. Another disaster for the conviction bears - how much money have they cost PI's here by encouraging them to sell near the lows? And then they just disappear.. :) | wigwammer
18/1/2021 10:44 | Next leg up here for the speculative one? Market makers all moving higher and well bid atm. All imo DYOR | sphere25
16/1/2021 15:08 | 33 - I used to use the Google shortener but they've withdrawn it, so I just picked the first that popped up. Try this, sorry if it messes up the page: | supernumerary
16/1/2021 14:28 | You can hear from the man himself: wide-ranging interview with CEO Arnab Basu. Covers results, improved trading and rapid progress with their detector of airborne Covid (incl mutations) and other pathogens: | edmonda
16/1/2021 14:21 | Super.. couldn't get your link to work! But I agree with you from what I've read so far elsewhere. | 33mick
16/1/2021 14:00 | This Biden's new spending plan. Given he's got control of both houses most of it should pass sooner or later. It looks as though there'll be plenty of support for novel Bio-threat solutions - see pp4-5 and throughout... shorturl.at/dewJL | supernumerary
16/1/2021 13:00 | Hot off the press today...very reassuring.. Equity interview with Arnab | 33mick
15/1/2021 21:47 | now what with all uk borders closed from Monday.arnab can again say engineers could reach their machines | bubloo
15/1/2021 13:32 | Varies - it is not so much a view as a fact, which has been well aired on the KMK discussion boards, that the AROC write down is a historic event which has already been realised in both the accounts and the valuation. The shares halved, and receivables written down from £20.8m last year, to £6.2m now. Having written the receivables down by 70% I hope we can agree it is unlikely to happen again. So looking ahead post the last accounts - with the valuation at 11p and accounts written down - it effectively became an off balance sheet asset. If we hear nothing about it again, nothing lost. If we do hear about it - expect another 5p+ on the shares. I guess it could be argued that a company that undergoes this sort of write down may be rotten to the core and entirely hot air, but given the 100%+ rise off the low that's a view increasingly dismissed by the market. So to directly answer your question - AROC is not mentioned in the latest report, but you knew that anyway - and if it is mentioned in the future, it can only add to the assets. ATB. | wigwammer
15/1/2021 13:25 | They're even giving the WHO investigation team a hard time I've read Doug and still looking to blame Italy or any other random country for the Covids. Fingers x'd it comes good. Like the sound of living In Korea, nice people. | 33mick
15/1/2021 13:10 | I think China will have 14 day quarantine rules. Not sure how the UK do quarantine. But, I live in South Korea and 14 days quarantine is strict. Even if you live here (South Korea) and can self quarantine, still have government folk coming around to check. Still, getting 13 million worth of stock moving might be worth 2 weeks of quarantine! | dougmachin
15/1/2021 12:10 | Varies From LSE yest morning...a good post by Promethium, I hope he doesn't mind me posting part of it again here. He gives his view re- the China issue. "Promethium Price: 13.70 Strong Buy My thoughts to help clarify / deal with confusionThu 08:38 I see some confusion and misconceptions here - a pity, KMK is an amazing prospect. Doubts expressed by some people might be making some of you unduly nervous. My background is I’m finance qualified and a significant shareholder. Just my opinions of course, does not constitute advice. DYOR and feel free to comment.",,......... Recommend you concentrate on core businesses (nuclear detection and medical imaging, security screening), market positions, proven products and growth potential. Exciting enough on their own. Bio-hazard detection is incredible, would an amazing bonus on top. Ventilators I see as a distraction, was never intended to be a core product. "Provision for Chinese contract (£13m): A firm planned date when the contract would be delivered was needed for auditors. No firm date in sight, so had to make provision. Final results were delayed until Oct, waiting for clarity. KMK can only reverse this provision when they can get their engineers on a flight into China, test and commission the solution in situ, and finally handover the order. Arnab has said cannot do this remotely from the UK or the US, they need to be physically there. So all depends on UK / China travel restrictions. Product is sitting in KMK warehouse at nil value ready to ship. Arnab assures us that client relationship still strong and just a matter of time. When delivered, provision will be reversed, giving windfall £13m benefit to profit". | 33mick
15/1/2021 11:36 | I wish some kind person would offer a view on the point I raised 2 or 3 days ago. The latest statement from KMK does not mention the £13 million write off last year on Amounts Recoverable on Contracts (AROC)due from Chinese customers whose financial position was rendered "uncertain" by the onset of Covid19. KMK expressed confidence then that this position would be reversed. | varies
15/1/2021 09:36 | I was just referring this: "It's been quiet on here for a while Sphere, there's a lively debate over on the 'other' side." Just didn't want to be missing something here, what's the 'other' side? Thanks for the other links too. | dougmachin
15/1/2021 09:33 | Doug not sure what you mean..?? all 3 links work I believe..just press coverage I've seen last 12 hours or so. When the field trails proper begin that's when you'll see world press coverage. All British designed and UK technology! | 33mick
15/1/2021 09:23 | 33mick - what 'other' thread? The only other one I can find it out of date. Certainly regret not loading up more at 11.2p, oh my! There's definitely some risk with this one, but without risk, there's no reward. | dougmachin |
