20/11/2018 14:01 | QuePassa, No but why not ask the company - they are very helpful? Debtors as a whole grew sharply in 2018 as they were moving facility in the US and had to stock up to accommodate this disruption - the stock was for delivery of product against long term contracts which is why it was classified as debtors not stock under modern accounting rules. Increase in debtors is part of explanation for use of cash and is expected to reverse in the year we are in - lets see - interims due next month. | culford
20/11/2018 11:28 | Anyone know why please that the 'past due but not impaired' receivables figures for y/e 2018 have ballooned to a massive £1.4million from £125,000 the year before? These 2018 y/e 'past due but not impaired receivables' have ballooned by some 1,100% from the year before. Especially for the category of 121+ days which accounts for £876,00 of the full £1.4million. That is, in my opinion, a lot of PAST DUE receivables to be carrying at year end. Notes 20 +21 to the 2018 Annual Report refer. I am sure there is a good and simple explanation - can anybody elucidate please. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
19/11/2018 11:02 | QuePassa - the China contract announced in 2014 has been slow to start but has now begun to deliver. Last year sales to Asia rose from £3.3m in 2016/7 to £6.0m in 2017/8 - it will be interesting to watch the progression this year. Their customer indicated that it should rise to more than $20m per annum (hence numbers over 7 years in that announcement) which would be a step change for KMK. In meantime they are progressing everywhere else and $7.8m orders are good to get. Note that less than 10% of their business goes to Europe so should be good whatever happens with the Brexit process. Balance sheet is strong after good shareholder support and good growth happening in each of its three industry sectors. | culford
19/11/2018 10:57 | I hope none of the Kromek board read Chimers posts or he could be in serious trouble. So silly on a public b b. | susiebe
19/11/2018 10:56 | A COUPLE OF PAST FUND-RAISINGS:- 30/7/15 PLACING £11m 25/1/17 PACING/OPEN OFFER £21m That's £32million (before expenses). THAT'S CASH! THAT IS MUCHO DINERO. HOWEVER.... AS AT April 2018, they had cash/equivalents of £9.5million and the total net assets of Kromek were just £40million. QUESTION. CAN SOMEBODY HELP PLEASE AND CLARIFY/EXPLAIN IN PLAIN ENGLISH JUST WHERE THE £32MILLION CASH PROCEEDS FROM THE TWO PLACINGS HAS GONE????????? Probably a very good and easy explanation but can someone please spell it out for the benefit of everyone in simple terms just how Kromek have burned through so much money? ALL IMO. DYOR. 19/11/2018 09:54 | Using your maths, the 4/4/14 7-year $159million contract was a nice little earner of $23million per annum. ANYONE CARE TO SAY HOW MUCH KROMEK HAVE ACTUALLY RECEIVED UNDER THAT CONTRACT?????? YOU SEE, WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT WITH ALL THESE NEW CONTRACTS INCLUDING THE 4/4/14 $159Million CONTRACT, HOW KROMEK'S TOTAL TURNOVER TO Y/E APRIL 2018 WAS ONLY £11.8MILLION. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THE MATHS PLEASE? ON THAT THEY MADE A HORRIBLE LOSS OF £2.5M. CAN ANYONE PLEASE EXPLAIN/CLARIFY HOW ALL THESE MULTIPLE CONTRACTS ONLY CAME TO £11.8MILLION IN TOTAL SALES LAST YEAR???????? | quepassa
19/11/2018 09:28 | Today's deal should be a steady little earner at over $1.5 pa for 5 years. My quick scan found 10 deals announced since March, five medical and five "detection". I'm happy with the steady build up. In the last results EBITA positive and gaining traction on all markets. | hew |
