A very interesting & relevant read on how India has moved on very quickly in the fashion stakes.

Further, citing RedSeers estimates, the report said that growth in online retail was likely to accelerate in 2018. In fact, according to the estimates, the e-commerce market is projected to grow by up to 60 per cent to $28-30 billion in GMV

As reported earlier, Indians spent around $3.2 billion (approx Rs 19,000 crore) buying products online during this years month-long festive sales period that ended mid-October, a growth of 45 per cent over sales during the same period last year.

High denomination bank notes taken out of circulation to stymie the black market economy along with tax and trading reforms to increase the tax take of the government

Harebridge could you please stop treating Mary like some kind of oracle unless you are also looking to lose all credibility.

Although first half figure were flat, Koovs have reported a significant improvement in the second half!

Promising 2nd Half

With modest additional marketing spend, the important month of November delivered a significant year on year improvement across key metrics, with Sales up by 17% to GBP 1.7m and website traffic up 43%.
Hopefully, once funding is sorted out (at an advanced stage), marketing spend can continue & Koovs can move forward.

Having spoken to senior members of the board in the past, it's clear that Demonetisation & GST set them back probably a year. I was also reminded that when Chairman of ASOS, Lord Waheed Alli saw the share price drop to 4p. He then took it to over GBP 20!!

He'll do it again. The prize in India is too big to pass. He also has a reputation to uphold, as does CEO Mary Turner, who has never failed at anything. Remember that she doesn't even draw a salary here, taking options instead.

All very encouraging to hear of exploding growth in India but disappointing that even in this benign environment Koovs have reported flat sales figures. Web traffic and domination of social media space count for nought when company has gone ex-growth. A bit embarrassed to admit am still a holder here but deeply disillusioned- no point in selling at this level and will remain on the burning deck.
