30/12/2017 12:01 | A very interesting & relevant read on how India has moved on very quickly in the fashion stakes. | putneylad66
29/12/2017 11:00 | Further, citing RedSeers estimates, the report said that growth in online retail was likely to accelerate in 2018. 28/12/2017 15:09 | This may be childish but would someone please explain 'demonetisation' to me. Thank you. | altom
28/12/2017 12:24 | Although first half figure were flat, Koovs have reported a significant improvement in the second half! Promising 2nd Half With modest additional marketing spend, the important month of November delivered a significant year on year improvement across key metrics, with Sales up by 17% to GBP 1.7m and website traffic up 43%. Hopefully, once funding is sorted out (at an advanced stage), marketing spend can continue & Koovs can move forward. Having spoken to senior members of the board in the past, it's clear that Demonetisation & GST set them back probably a year. I was also reminded that when Chairman of ASOS, Lord Waheed Alli saw the share price drop to 4p. He then took it to over GBP 20!! He'll do it again. The prize in India is too big to pass. He also has a reputation to uphold, as does CEO Mary Turner, who has never failed at anything. Remember that she doesn't even draw a salary here, taking options instead. | harebridge
28/12/2017 11:46 | All very encouraging to hear of exploding growth in India but disappointing that even in this benign environment Koovs have reported flat sales figures. Web traffic and domination of social media space count for nought when company has gone ex-growth. A bit embarrassed to admit am still a holder here but deeply disillusioned- no point in selling at this level and will remain on the burning deck. RM | rampmeister |
