Amazon is over 100 times the size of Koovs!Billboards- even India has moved into the digital age. It's all about social media engagement now.I trust that media mogul Lord Waheed Alli knows a thing or two about marketing.

In India at present koovs are nowhere to be seen. Seen ads for flip and amazon both on tv and billboards. Youngsters are aware but seem to be buying on amazon more. More marketing required here

Surely, Koov wouldn't accept a takeover for less than £1?

I can see some sort of tie up with Flipkart very soon as they look to increase scale.Amazon must also be keeping an eye on Koovs, especially as Koovs are soon to be selling on Souq.com (now owned by Amazon).Lots of interest on social media regarding the new Disney X Koovs collection due to be launched tomorrow.

Flipkart raises $1.4 bln in high stakes battle with Amazon

Competition has intensified in the e-commerce sector as companies vie for a slice of the worlds fastest-growing internet services market.

This is good news for Flipkart as it solidifies it as a market leader at least in the short term, keeping competition especially Amazon at bay, said Sandy Shen, research director at Gartner.

Flipkart has been and will continue to make acquisitions to increase scale, and the next challenge is to strategize the path to a sustainable business model within a set timeframe.

Sorry to say Jackson, but yes I believe the charts and current figures are painful to read. I have a very low average so am in profit and not worries yet but as you can just on these boards, the current drop is worrying a few.Hold tight, it's gonna be a bumpy right. I wouldn't let anyone on these boards scare me in to selling.I know people who bought 10k ASOS for 10p and sold out at 15p .... who couldn't bring themselves to buy at 20-30p....now crying

HT Media originally paid 25p & its thought they have been selling small blocks off to test the market reaction ... they have been selling on 6th , 7th & 10th today very worrying & expect they will keep under the radar for a few days

Join the club jackson83. I expect many of us are now sitting on a large paper loss. What do you expect from the AIM market ?? Should have left well alone. Just lost £5k on an AIM company after waiting Twelve Years, having bought it for 58p/share. It was taken over for 9p/share. Muggers !!!!

Soggy, part of the reason why many fail on their AIM investing is that they never bother to learn basic accounts. Am not saying you are one of them but if you want to know is P/L and current cash/burn rate etc. Take a look at the accounts. A PLC has to publish it's accounts, that what differenciates if from a LTD. The accounts have to be made public. Head to the website where you can see the accounts Inc. previous years etc.Am still of the opinion we are going back below 40p as someone is offloading so any rise is being sold in to but in dribs and drabs so the seller is much harder to detect.I bought at 25p and below so am not fussed if we do. Long term, 5-10 years....People will be talking about KOOV like they do about ASOS.

Soggy- it could be worth reading the detailed Interims & Finals. All the info is there.

Why invest in a company if you don't know/ can't grasp the basic financial info.

Have you emailed the company with your concerns? Probably not.

I regularly email the company & have had all my questions answered in a prompt & professional manner.

Have you read the latest Peel Hunt note that reiterates a 100p BUY recommendation? Probably not.

Like the reputable management team, I remain 100% confident.

The management are clear....well, that's very nice for them - but as an investor, ie one who part owns the company, I would like a bit of clarity! Profit/loss? When do we become cash +ve? Cash left? Cash burn?

I know you have to spend and it takes investment for a business to grow, but they are not telling us the basic info that anyone needs in order to decide whether or not to invest. I've got a fair wedge (for me) tied up in this, and am sitting on a rather embarrassing paper loss, which is generally getting bigger. I would really quite like some clear info to decide whether to bail out at this loss or stick it out, or even pump some more money in.

Why the silence from the co. on the really important figures?

Koovs management are clear on their road to profitability.

They are clear on their path to positive margins (necessary in emerging sectors/ markets for growing scale).

They don't want to borrow money cheaply, only as & when.

The lagging share price ISN'T company specific. Demonetisation, the single biggest monetary policy change India has ever seen decimated the sector.

Koovs has come out the other side & will resume duties (100% growth). It outgrew the sector & outperformed its rivals.

Spare a thought for Lord Alli & his 38 million shares. Is he worried? Not at all!!

As always, detailed figures out in Finals in July.

Those with a longer term view could be handsomely rewarded. Shorter term punters in AIM will always get stung.

This is one of those trading updates where what has been left out, is more important than what was included.

What is the cash position and the rate of cash burn?

what do you mean to get the share price up? i have lost £6700 in 3 days and sad to say the price is still going down 47p i think ,is it also correct that they will make no or little profits for a few more years ? also a worry is a funding at a discount to todays price & a far lower share price , a lot of people seem to of sold up

As Koovs concentrates on less discounts to improve gross margins, other big players in India are doing the same.

Myntra's 3-day online fashion gig: Exclusive premium products, no discount!

Myntra, fashion retailing arm of India's largest e-commerce portal, Flipkart, is hoping an online fashion event would lure premium buyers without offering discounts, as it eyes profitability this financial year.
