10/6/2010 15:37 | I'm long PDG E.I. - car sector looks good imo. What's going on here? Chairman buying 75K and monster buying last night and today. Has the chairman got wind of a bid prior to an actual approach? Or are they well ahead? Already said software div was well ahead. CR | cockneyrebel
10/6/2010 14:56 | I'm watching here, about 6 weeks before the next resuts I reckon. Held shedloads of these before. CR Bought back into LOOK today, having sold out at 61.75 following results. CEO bought another 219,000 shares this morning and now holds 2.5 million shares. He has well over £1 million invested in a mid cap stock - I like that confidence. | essentialinvestor
10/6/2010 11:17 | large volume, chairman bought 75K yesterday, software division trading ahead, potential bid target, hardware division likely to be sold off. Great buy and hold for the results imo - expect it will gallop soon imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/6/2010 09:30 | Chairman has just bought 75k too - looking interesting :-0 CR | cockneyrebel
09/6/2010 18:34 | Gosh, nearly 5m shares traded today. | gnnmartin
20/5/2010 17:33 | On a day when almost everything was hammered, and there were 350k sales of KFX in 4 trades, with no buys, KFX holds firm. Someone is accumulating these. Long may it last! Nigel Martin | gnnmartin
09/5/2010 12:18 | Make that 4, cellars. I have a small holding as treasury shares, so to speak. :-) Nigel Martin | gnnmartin
06/5/2010 11:12 | Hi Both (It appears we are a happy band of just 3!) Just thought the record deal fully warranted an RNS on grounds of materiality. In particular, an indication of whether this deal is included in the consensus PBT. Consensus FY-10 PBT £14.8 Mn @ £ = $1.57 = $23.2 Mn Licence sale $3.8 Mn less, say, 10% COS & 30% sales commissions & deployment expenses (seems cautious to me) = 60% dropping to bottom line = $3.8 @ 60% = $2.3 Mn = 10% of consensus PBT Hence I cannot sensibly value the shares (but, continue to hold an investment that is highly material to me in the hope of more such deals to come) | cellars
05/5/2010 14:10 | They are cautious, put those small Director sales in the context of the Multiple large Director buying late last year imv. I repeatedly posted here a few months back in the 160s-170s, no one was interested. I took 25k profit here so happy to see KFX continue to do well. | essentialinvestor
05/5/2010 12:52 | Not sure a director exercisin and selling options says anything - many do that and probably just doesn't care for holding shares. The contract win is one of many large ones recently - the co never mentioned those either. Guess they'll all be wrapped up in the year end statement. CR | cockneyrebel
05/5/2010 12:03 | Yesterday, Kofax announced (on its website)a record $4.4 Mn enterprise license deal signed during April with a major financial services firm and including $3.8 Mn licence fees. Given that by far the major part of licence income falls to the bottom line there should be a very substantial impact on profits. Yet, the end April trading statement made no reference to this deal and was, I thought, rather cautious. Also, a PDMR exercised and sold options at the end of April. I guess these two way pulls and fears over the economy are what make for interesting times! | cellars
04/5/2010 12:28 | Reckon it won't be long before these go through that previous high then ping north. The software side that's ahead is the high growth higher margin part of the business - if they asell off the hardware side as looks likely they'll se earnings to market cap soar imo. CR | cockneyrebel
29/4/2010 08:07 | Software side doing very well. That's the important bit. Hardware will be sold off before long imo - these will be an absolute screaming buy then imo. CR | cockneyrebel
29/4/2010 07:52 | trading well ahead from that statement and the bit in the FT imo. CR | cockneyrebel
28/4/2010 20:20 | yep thats about right - perfect timing as i sold these today (at a profit) but still... good luck | pysgodaur
28/4/2010 19:11 | Documents scanning specialist Kofax added 3.1 per cent to 250¼p after Canaccord Adams advised clients to "buy" ahead of Thursday's trading statement. The broker said Kofax had announced a "plethora" of contract wins in the first quarter, 16 versus six a year ago and they were all bigger. "Last year large deals were between $200,000-$300,000. This year, there have been several $500,000 plus deals, including the two record deals of $5.9m (£3.8m) in January and $2.7m in March," said analyst Kevin Ashton. CR | cockneyrebel

23/4/2010 10:13 | IMS statement on Thurs - might reveal the reason for that buying at 10% over the market and the recent director buying imo. CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2010 12:09 | IMS statement next Thurs - expecting buying to pick up ahead of then. CR | cockneyrebel
15/4/2010 11:18 | yep, good buying between now and then imo. CR | cockneyrebel
