Moram Q3 22 update: KIST and SQZ



Suggests Netherlands will apply additional (windfall) taxes only from 2023:
"This is a crucial point as the Netherland already said that it will start in 2023. Consequently, that for Kistos means that the huge amount of money made in 2022, remains in Kistos."

Worth a read of the SQZ update too, as it says Moram expects 500% increase in KIST share price from these levels:
"We cannot see Serica’s share price increasing 500% in the next years as we see Kistos."

Daniel, must admit I was thrown by the following sentence in the interims but this is what it actually said:

"In the meantime, output from the Kistos-operated Q10-A field in the Dutch sector of the North Sea benefited from the drilling and workover campaign we conducted between July 2021 and February 2022. Average daily production net to Kistos' 60% interest in the field was 6.1 kboe/d in the six months to 30 June 2022 or 5% higher than the equivalent six-month period a year earlier."

It later gave information about what they are going to do in Q4.

Sitting duck Fandagle. No moves though until Dutch government rule on possible further taxes.
Let's hope the golden goose in Holland does not have to cap the size of its eggs if further taxes are imposed leaving the family of geese to expand in the UK North Sea where lower taxes will prevail.

Dutch plans were to levy an additional 4% tax on oil and gas producers and very unclear from my research what has happened.
