28/7/2022 01:02 | You seem to have some insight into them. Could they be acting as proxy for a third party or predator? | masurenguy
27/7/2022 23:51 | Tipacs is a Jersey based private investment company owned by Thomas & Nikolaus Wilhelm. | masurenguy
27/7/2022 23:48 | "Does anyone know who is behind Tipacs2?" TIPACS2 Limited - Thomas Wilhelm and Nikolaus Wilhelm. Nikolaus was born in Liechtenstein, Sept 1975. | simonwlewis
27/7/2022 19:31 | Does anyone know who is behind Tipacs2? Just thinking this looks a little bit like what happened with French Connection. Someone bought Mike Ashley's 25% stake at around 26p then when they had all the legal and regulatory stuff done they proceeded with a recommended offer at 30p. That would be my rough guess here. | kinwah
27/7/2022 19:01 | Tipacs have bought out the MI Discretionary Unit Fund 9.9% holding, plus a further 1m shares earlier today, to raise their shareholding from 13.8% to 25.7%. They are a private investment company so I can only assume that they believe that a predator will eventually make a successful bid for the company at a higher price than 27p. | masurenguy
27/7/2022 18:21 | Rns tr1Tipsacs 2 limited look to have increased their stake in kinovo. My maths ain't great but it's about 11.8pct. | ben gibbons
27/7/2022 16:07 | What time frame you think it could double then Nick? | ben gibbons
27/7/2022 15:53 | Someone has bought 10pct at a big premium to the share price of 17p and the time. Also If dcb is capped at 8m or 9m total then kino imho will double in value as we will have 4m in debt and core bus makes that in one year !! I'm still bullish but obviously still risky but less so after that trade yday. | nico115
27/7/2022 15:50 | Just read dyor post and can get a picture of what's going on now. | ben gibbons
27/7/2022 15:47 | I'm not really knowledgeable on kino so don't know much about the company so excuse my lack of understanding. But why has kino exploded the last few days? | ben gibbons

27/7/2022 12:12 | DCB Kent was sold to MCG Global (by looks of it a one man band fronted by Paul Eghan) Kinovo agreed to pay DCB · firstly, up to £1.9 million will be payable on the successful completion of current projects, most of which are due in the calendar year 2022; · secondly, up to £2.1 million will be payable on trade settlements relating to these current contracts; and · the third and fourth elements, upon which £0.5 million will be payable for each element, relate to the achievement of a £3.0 million profit before tax target, for each of the years ending March 2023 and March 2024 respectively. Has MCB Global found a buyer for its projects which will relinquish DCB / Kinovo's obligations? | nidgeyr
27/7/2022 11:07 | hi Dave how's it going? Thanks for the post. tbh I bought some at lower levels and have top sliced as you say, still in heavily from before, so would like to see higher.... DYOR2 is spot on I reckon as to what is happening. Let's see what transpires, but MMS seem to be dropping the bid to pick up stock IMO....they are not having the rest of mine! Cheers all and DYOR | qs99
27/7/2022 11:07 | The buyer and seller have 2 days to notify Kinovo. Many times they don't bother or there's a delay but with 10pct changing hands we are likely to get an Rns or 2 in the morning. On the back of the admin report and recent trading update I think 27p is still a steal for the buyer and am hoping our true value of closer to 60p is achieved within 12 months . | nico115
27/7/2022 11:02 | QS99 All depends if it's a bid or just a stakebuilder. I think it was called Lookers PLC but somebody did similar, bought a huge stake at a massive premium, bb went nuts with bid talk, but once it was established it was just somebody wanting a % of the company not all the price started to drift way lower than what they paid. You know what traders are like they move on fast. I guess if you are still holding from sub 10p then perhaps slice a few around 30p to be safe and then see what happens with the rest. Well done. I bailed far too early and missed out on a huge return | dave4545
27/7/2022 10:59 | MI Discretionary Unit Fund are obliged to inform Kinovo of their share sale but technically Kinovo don't have to issue an RNS until they do. The same scenario relates to the purchaser of those shares too. | masurenguy
27/7/2022 10:41 | I don’t know any more than the rest of you what’s going on here. But the lack of an RNS suggests that the Kino BoD doesn’t know either, because they must be under huge pressure from the Stock Exchange to make an announcement. My best guess is that somebody (maybe Sureserve) knows the value of the underlying biz and wants it, and has decided to buy a blocking stake to put themselves in pole position to negotiate a bid once the DCB liabilities are known. As I’ve said here before, the underlying biz is worth at least £30m to a buyer, and possibly quite a lot more. Buying a stake at 27p values Kino at c.£17m, so buying a blocking stake at that price would leave plenty of headroom to settle the DCB liabilities. I’m just guessing, but we should know the identity of the 27p buyer soon, so maybe that will give us a better idea. Meanwhile, I’m certainly not selling! | dyor2
27/7/2022 09:56 | re # 599: I've never suggested any bid by Sureserve nor am I aware of one. It was you who indicated that they have made a bid without providing any information source. | masurenguy
27/7/2022 09:54 | genuinely surprised at the lack of speed on a clarification RNS | qs99
27/7/2022 09:43 | I'm just asking you boss. You're the boss, you always get the best info | george stobart
27/7/2022 09:33 | Well why don't you post the source of any information that you might have in that respect. | masurenguy
27/7/2022 09:26 | Is it true that Sureserve (SUR) has agreed terms to buy KINO? Will they pay us in SUR shares or cash? | george stobart |
