22/10/2008 21:51 | Cecky, Not in your wildest dreams can KIM make a profit this year, that is a certainty. The best we can hope for is a positive production update and confirmation that we are heading for that magic 200,000 cts per anum that they have targeted. But lets wait and see, I have a feeling that there may yet be one or two surprises up KIM's sleeve. We all know that this is undervalued and if there is any kind of volume in the coming days and weeks then 10p is not beyond the realms of posibility. | dcroston
22/10/2008 18:13 | for the chartists out there, this looks like a classic flag formation, with upside target of 5.5p short term. | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 14:09 | ceckyspunt 10p level would be good, but yes 5p by Friday | hyper al
22/10/2008 13:48 | ...well, im looking for 30p... ...but will be happy with 5p by friday! | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 13:46 | could be a nice breakout if we continue up from this level. | hyper al
22/10/2008 13:39 | ..and rather encouraging! | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 13:10 | now at 4.5... intriguing | bigwilly1986
22/10/2008 10:40 | looking a little better every day! | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 09:14 | The buying continues. | hyper al
22/10/2008 08:46 | ceckyspunt If I am confident about the company or I am willing to loose all my investment, then I don't really take much note of the spread. Normally with these type of shares, if things turn for the better, then things tend to move in an upward direction very fast and the spread closes. Basically shares like this are for holding long term until news, anyone who thinks they can trade them with such a spread would be foolish. | hyper al
22/10/2008 08:42 | dcroston My investment in this company is quite small, so it does not justify me making contact with the company. I certainly would if it was say more than 20% of my portfolio. | hyper al
22/10/2008 08:40 | to be fair, a large spread usually indicates a higher perceived risk, and is there to protect the mm from losing money if the share price falls, but even so, why would anyone take a chance on a share that need to rise by 25%+ just to break even? having said that IMO KIM are about to turn a corner and maybe even show a profit in their next financial statements, but WTFDIK | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 08:39 | Anyone been in touch with the company lately? | dcroston
22/10/2008 08:31 | nice choice of words ceckyspunt 'rather excessive'.......I could think of a few alternatives to those words but I'll restrain myself from using inappropriate language in this instance. | dcroston
22/10/2008 08:30 | ceckyspunt That spread is not as bad as with RENE | hyper al
22/10/2008 08:20 | the biggest single bar to investors here is the size of the spread imposed by the mm! i mean, its 25% of the value of the company! rather excessive IMO. | ceckyspunt
22/10/2008 08:13 | yesterday there were 350,000 shares bought, and none sold. maximum reported trade was 75,000. looks like PI speculation to me, rather than leaked info. we will soon see... | ceckyspunt
21/10/2008 16:28 | bigwilly1986 I suppose if Dwyka needs some cash it could sell it's stake in KIM. Maybe one of the big companies will buy it. | hyper al
21/10/2008 15:48 | Dwyka has fallen a lot recently. Will this affect KIM? | bigwilly1986
21/10/2008 12:13 | Something is brewing From my previous link "The high concentrations of REE in kimberlites from the Bellsbank area relative to other South African kimberlites and the large variation in the abundance of these elements in different kimberlites from the Bellsbank group (see Fesq et al., 1975, Table 3) warrant special consideration." What I am saying is Bosele is different. Is the Bosele depression the centre of something big? Exploration starts in Q4 2008, maybe a few others are excited, like me | hyper al
21/10/2008 11:59 | Hey Hyper, Some news has got to be coming - I just can't believe the rise from 1p is just a rebound from it being undervalued. As ever with these shares, people at the mine tell their mates and we see a rise. I've been in since the start, topped up at 9p then 2p. | bigwilly1986
21/10/2008 11:52 | I'm waiting for a surprise from Bosele. "The kimberlite from DeBruyn and Martin Mine differs from many South African kimberlites'in its lack of magnesium ilmenite, in the compositions and crystallization trends of its spinels, and in the remarkable enrichment of its perovskite in REE." | hyper al
21/10/2008 10:49 | Bosele The Bosele Prospecting Right, located close to the Group's Bellsbank operation, comprises a series of kimberlite bearing fissures that form the strike extension to fissures currently being exploited at the nearby Messina mine. In addition, the licence contains an unusual large structure tentatively described as a lamproite. Bulk sampling of the structure resulted in the recovery of diamonds and the Group is currently planning an exploration drilling programme to commence in the fourth quarter of 2008. | hyper al
21/10/2008 10:12 | ceckyspunt I only have a small holding. But it's all good fun! Recently put a lot of money in a bottom tracker in the biotech sector. RENE worth a look. Have a good day. | hyper al |
