20/1/2018 22:53 | The stockopedia article is less than reassuring and may account for the fall this week. More comforting is that the shorters do not seem to have smelt blood - Kier has not been more than 0.5% shorted since 2013.Fingers crossed. | cashpo1nt

16/1/2018 21:51 | Given that Kier will cherry-pick Government sponsored framework projects. It's hard to believe that the share price is not past 1300. It will be by the end of the week of course. | eriktherock
16/1/2018 11:56 | In last night ITV News at 10, Robert Preston commented that according to a number of sources Carillion is only the first of a number of big players that could go under this year...let's hope Kier is not amongst them! | azioni2
15/1/2018 18:09 | kier mentioned specifically (and positively) by government minister David Lidington in House of Commons today. | mfhmfh
15/1/2018 17:28 | Chart looks quite encouraging here with early indications that upward momentum may finally be building. | ygor705
15/1/2018 14:44 | Stew. I think the opposite will play out here and this company will benefit from Cllns problems.Im long here and have added further last week. | riviera1069
15/1/2018 09:18 | Carillion's liquidation will certainly make contracts less competitive in future. It still highlights the fact that, like Carillion, Kier probably has zero margin contracts ongoing and legacy issues for years to come. There is a serious problem with this industry, it has high labour costs, high compliance costs and high plant costs. The result is they produce very little product for what seems like unbelievable sums and still make a loss. | stewart64
15/1/2018 08:31 | Business as usual? KIER GROUP PLC JOINT VENTURES WITH CARILLION PLC Kier Group plc ("Kier"), a leading property, residential, construction and services group, notes today's announcement relating to Carillion plc ("Carillion"). Kier currently operates joint ventures involving Carillion on HS2 and the Highways England smart motorways programme. We have put in place contingency plans for each of these projects and are working closely with clients so as to achieve continuity of service. Following today's announcement and after a short period of transition for these contracts, we do not expect there to be an adverse financial impact on the Group arising from these joint venture contracts. | cwa1
13/1/2018 13:45 | I noted a suggestion yesterday that KIE was a sub- contractor to CLLN, which suggests that it might take a hit from latter's administration, which might be offset by having contracts moved directly to it. | bscuit
12/1/2018 15:28 | With Carillion likely to be going into administration fairly shortly I have been asking myself which of its competitors is likely to be a major beneficiary? I have a feeling that it could well be Kier! | ygor705
09/1/2018 17:27 | Numis are at 1510 I think | baddeal

21/11/2017 12:56 | Lucifer100...I don't like the unadjusted p/e multiples. This has been going on for years...no taxable profit for the previous three years either in aggregate. The brokers love it and one assumes there is something there in the Emperor's clothes that the uneducated just can't see. | stewart64 |
