03/7/2019 07:41 | See back to where this started before the rise. Hope some have learned the way of Kibo life This is how this share isTiny spikes few and very far between Jam tomorrow from ceo No value for long term holders here | woolybadger62
02/7/2019 19:27 | cj The R&A implied Moz DFS not paid for yet. As for Bots its very early stage and Sechaba won't be happy with the Kibo shares it got in exchange. Maybe Med is the only real prospect. As for Bordersley profits Yaki, we've had the capex and NPV. Gives us the gross return before interest etc, and loan repayments gives us the net cash generated. Thought I'd posted my calcs somewhere. | lurker5
02/7/2019 17:45 | We appear to be faffing about with MED rather than getting on with Bots, Moz or Tanzania where LC is allegedly used to dealing. Maybe at some point he will actually achieve something in Africa. | cj41
02/7/2019 15:45 | Re PPA term - StatKraft do long term PPAs with floor prices. I believe up to 15-20 years. Five years - could be what Kibo wanted. A 5MW plant- can probably generate 20 GWh/year in electricity, at 50% utilisation. Not sure what pricing they can achieve, but say 10p/kWh, ie 100k a GWh, gives annual revenue of 2m/year From the top of my head, gross margin is c70%, so 1.4m/year, before interest and other costs. So the 3.6m capex, would need 0.7m/year repayment over 5 years. Ie quite achievable to repay the capex and have a valuable plant, worth 10m ish! | yaki
02/7/2019 13:40 | Yes its all a start. But its a very long race. Its only a 5 yr PPa so far ! And as you agree, Kibo needs a lot of them - for a longer PPA term - to pay its bills. We still don't know the full financing picture for Bordersley. Its a very well for Kibo to say it doesn't have to contribute for the next few years. But someone is going to have to, which will will detract from the top line earnings. Its also very unlikely Med will agree to Kibo getting another Bordersleey on the same, extremely cheap terms (no of shares issued for it small entirely because based on a share price a year ago before MCPP went down the pan (where it will stay for a long time before any cross-border deals or financing (it will need to be for the full 350MW output if the economics are to stay the same) comes along. | lurker5
02/7/2019 11:25 | lurker you will agree that PPA Executed with Statkraft is smth material rather than fluff. Next is FC and then first tangible projetc, albeit small. Smth that can be attractive to investors who are after energy infrastructure assets | yaki
02/7/2019 11:10 | Bertie W ? We're all advancing aren't we ? Some advance without getting any where (like Kibo ?) | lurker5
02/7/2019 10:31 | I like the sound of 100MW portfolio. If they make 1p KWh profit, that's like 2-3m profit a year. Bring it on | yaki
01/7/2019 14:28 | Beggars belief lurker how a person of your advancing years has so little to do in life than frequent these boards. | wooster4
01/7/2019 09:18 | Better take your life jacket with you. There's no plug big enough to fit the hole in Kibo. | lurker5
01/7/2019 07:50 | Think that the hot weather got to myself and a few mates over the weekend so going to take a punt on this 'dog of a ahare'. LOL and GLTA | citycanary

28/6/2019 15:52 | why would someone join the ADVFN, and start deramping KIBO from day 1, until now, day 3 Woolybadger62 28 Jun '19 - 15:27 - 1611 of 1611 0 1 0 There are no fundamentals here just ludicrous valuations and cash burn The Rns repeated itself 5 times about 5.25p Shows the desperation of this man | yaki

28/6/2019 15:24 | lurker will depend on the fundamentals. Selling off some bit for cash, or permits appearing(shall I mention SML or not, let's not) etc etc, can justify a few more p's on the share price Also, why would someone join the ADVFN, and start deramping KIBO from day 1, until now, day 3. Don't you think it is an agenda driven attempt? lurker5 28 Jun '19 - 15:16 - 1609 of 1609 0 0 0 dave - we're not deramping. We're spelling out the facts - as you would confirm if able to understand the R&A. The herd can rush in as much as they like. The smell of burnt lemmings will get all the stronger | yaki

28/6/2019 14:42 | Re SML, based on what you are saying, poor Mining Minister is as clueless as me then hxxps://www.thecitiz The poor guy expects the three SMLs to be issued soon and so they can invest min 100m each SOON, Chimp, I will ask him to speak to you next time, before he makes such speculative comments! What would the world do without you! AIMChimp 28 Jun '19 - 14:27 - 1604 of 1604 0 0 0 Yes I am fine more of the speculation that you put out there as fact when it just made up speculative and opinion like when the SML is coming any day now isn’t it complet’s misleading. | yaki

28/6/2019 13:05 | From the AR on MED: - Potential revenue generation from Q4 2019?!? For Bordersley they said q1 2020, so it is this for the 20mw site?!? Current Status: • Foothold established in the developing UK Reserve Power Market with options to acquire eight peaking power plant sites (plants that run only when there is high electricity demand) totalling 57 MW from prospective developers • Negotiations on Joint Development Agreements in progress on three sites totalling 31 MW • Potential revenue generation from Q4 2019 And To date, it has acquired an exclusive option to evaluate and negotiate on the acquisition of three peaking power sites with total output capacity of 31.3 MW of which it is now completing Joint Development Agreements on two of these (total capacity 25.2 MW). The first of these is expected to come on stream during 2019. | yaki
28/6/2019 12:43 | Chimp, you are OK? Not sure what speculation you refer to. It is all research, my friend. Unlike your usual baseless drivel AIMChimp 28 Jun '19 - 12:40 - 1599 of 1601 0 0 0 UKN it a free board for discussion you cannot manage peoples views and opinion AIMChimp 28 Jun '19 - 12:41 - 1600 of 1601 0 0 0 More speculative again with no foundation YAKI did your men on the ground tell you that? | yaki
28/6/2019 12:41 | lurker on BEnga: In order to maintain its initial participation interest Kibo is required to ensure funding of a maximum amount of £1 million towards the completion of a Definitive Feasibility Study, however this expenditure is still discretionary. My reading of it, is that to maintain the 65% interest, less and up to 1mln needs spending. But the expenditure is discretionary. At whose discretion - Both parties to the contract, Kibo, Benga? Definitely not clear | yaki |
