05/7/2018 17:55 | And then basically end up where it started at the start of the day - so possibly low to mid 1700s is a bit of a base for now. | scooper72
05/7/2018 15:53 | KWS can move up and down very quickly, can't it! | mad foetus
05/7/2018 15:50 | yes, and daytime again and a new day with different opinions, views and news. so do not panic! Invest and keep the faith! A words of a wise man" DO NOT PANIC" | christh
05/7/2018 15:18 | Typical AIM punters, a good RNS comes out and yet they drop this because of peope being unable to read the news properly. The techs have just gone tipsy turvy, we’ll probably go down to 1660 before a bounce back up again. Frustrating but it is what it is! | jthomas10
05/7/2018 15:04 | It's currently daytime in England - nighttime may follow | panic investor
05/7/2018 14:54 | Dow up 172 and going higher, will ftse follow? yes, it will, and lift many stocks up including Aim stocks | christh
05/7/2018 13:49 | Any helpful technical thoughts bamboo on whether 1700 will be the support for this to bounce off? | scooper72
05/7/2018 11:10 | mr Euro, NUMIS,BERENGER,PEEL HUNT and many others know the strategy, the potential, the company strength and they set target prices around £21+ as they see the growth (organic and by aquisition) going from strength to strength. The move to London is right and more central to Business rather than the out of the way Dublin. So wait for more news to come and the share price to be adjusted as the company is re-rated. £19 for short term and £22 or higher by Xmas. | christh
05/7/2018 09:49 | Euro, some fair points and GDPR does sound a bit boring- but maybe that is something businesses will need to be careful of. I know our little office where I work has to be more aware of it. But for me the important point is this is going to be not more than 5 percent of spending and possibly shows that they are so Clear about the pathway for their core business they feel confident as a bunch of effectively tech executives to start building the next level of their 'amazon' - hopefully in a prudent manner. So far I don't know if any particular cases where they have made mistakes in their acquisitions so they certainly have a good track record. | scooper72
05/7/2018 09:28 | Euro! (Mr) What a load of tosh! Going by your posting history, you've always complained about the valuation here against your other investments - no wonder you're deramping the hell out of this share and appear on this chat board when there is news or a red day! Your analysis is amateur at best. You have no idea why they invested 45% or what the company does to go banging on about their investment. They've made excellent additions that has enable them to serve 23 of the top 25 gaming companies. Their strategy of investing only 5% in such small ventures is well thought of the chaps on the firm no much more than your pitiful attempt at a deramp. So get moving and not just me, but safe to say many don't really care at your absolute tosh of an analysis with no substance! | jthomas10
05/7/2018 09:24 | I love the KWS story, been in and out for a long time. They are at a sky high rating, and probably justified. However let's look at this deal (dont have time to write all my notes up); - £300k for 45%? - I get the strategy; seed, develop and expand to existing customers (selling to existing customers is 10 times easier than new clients. great stuff) - What type of company sells out for this valuation? Perhaps one in trouble? Who knows - Any firm involved in GDPR reminds me of other failure firms like RDT (complete bag of spanners and a firm I know very well) - This type of speculative approach doesn't warrant a sky high rating unless it's deserved - May be going down a rabbit hole, who knows... - Point is it's more risk, more uncertainty, and we don't like Anyway perhaps this is the deal of the century and KWS have pulled of a master stroke? Great if they do but needs to be proven. Why not buy the complete firm? Too many questions... And JThomas. Take it or leave it, I don't care. | mr euro
05/7/2018 09:21 | Chaps, you just have to read mr.eurpo's posting history to see his agenda. Ignore the time wasters! | jthomas10
05/7/2018 09:18 | I agree, this is a great step forward. Pulling through innovation from start-ups to help them scale-up and ultimately join the KWS family is exactly what KWS need to do to grow their leadership position. Anyhow, KWS are only investing a max of 5% of their M&A budget in thus venture .... very canny IMHO. | gokarna97
05/7/2018 09:08 | Mr Euro KWS is becoming a giant in its field. But also well run, strong growth. Look at the balance sheet/report. They know what they are doing. Date.........Broker. 05 Jul 18...Peel Hunt.......Add...... 11 Jun 18...Numis.......... | christh
05/7/2018 09:06 | Diversification? Care to reason? This is part of their fundamental strategy of buying smaller companies and this is purely a strategic step to look out for such firms. Whilst the market this morning seems to agree with you, I fully expect the market to come to its senses and re-rate accordingly. | jthomas10
05/7/2018 08:57 | Market wont like this diversification for a bunch of reasons. May pay off in the long term. On verra.... | mr euro
05/7/2018 08:29 | It certainly is a well thought out venture and is an excellent addition given their strategy. I was wondering about the significance of the ENS last week regarding the change of registered office from Dublin to London, this now makes sense. The market hasn't seemed to grasp the strategy of the RNS today just yet but will catch-up soon enough. The sort of news that could help us break the stubborn barrier at present. | jthomas10
05/7/2018 07:24 | This is an exciting new venture - KWS pick up large stakes in early stage companies for peanuts (45% for £300k!) and use their business and customer base to commercialise the Newcos. A great idea which will pay off in spades if just one or two make it through, let alone the much higher percentage which should succeed given the fast track they're getting via KWS. Innovative stuff indeed. | rivaldo

04/7/2018 16:47 | Thanks b, you may want to cast your eye over HUR, incredible price action - just can't break 48 but when it does could move much higher imo | mad foetus
04/7/2018 16:39 | mf I was so pleased when you took your 10% the other day! It'll turn again soon enough. Will update if and when the next potential turn becomes clear! | bamboo2
04/7/2018 15:54 | Well called bamboo. I had meetings this am and made a trade in haste. Oh well, wasn't a big one but annoying nonetheless | mad foetus
04/7/2018 15:51 | Unsure why she didn't break higher - was expecting this to hit 1900 but it does look like a cycle back to the 1600 before going back up again. I hope to be proved wrong but part of me thinks the mm's and some II's are just trading this and hence stuck in a range. | jthomas10
04/7/2018 15:18 | aimingup, the idea of apex based turns, up or down, seems such a simple concept, yet it is fraught with difficulties! The trendline apex marks a reversal of the current trend. I work on daily charts and the potential turn today suggests the share price will close lower. The actual turn, if it occurs, happens intraday. It can only be confirmed for sure once the UT trade is printed at 4.35, which gives us tomorrow mornings opening price. It will show as a peak on the line chart in the header. Look here for more info, | bamboo2 |
