16/5/2018 10:54 | Tipped here by Octopus Investments fund manager Richard Power to reach FTSE100 size: "Keywords Studios The final company is gaming service provider Keywords Studios. Originally started as a company that translated games into various languages, the company has expanded since 1998. The £1.3bn firm, which launched in 2013, has since expanded its range through a number of bolt-on acquisitions, working with top 20 mobile game and traditional video game manufacturers. The company has been successful in these acquisitions as it allows the bought firms to retain their brand and has built up a global offering that deals with sensitivities in different regions well, according to Power. It is run by chief executive Andrew Day, who the manager said is a blend of both optimistic and realistic – something that is rare in smaller companies as CEOs are usually one or the other. “I think Keywords could get [to the FTSE 100]. It is such a big marketplace that if they execute well then they have got the opportunity there,” he said." | rivaldo
14/5/2018 18:29 | bamboo, I agree the TA looks promising. My reasons are that: .the trend is still upward .the volume is dropping on the down days .seems to be finding support on the 20MA .the volatility is contracting fingers crossed it may soon get a further leg up | jamesjjj
14/5/2018 15:21 | Built up a reasonable holding around the 50% retrace level mentioned earlier. Still very difficult to buy when the price drops. I have today marked a potential turn day. bbd, I enjoy the challenge! Chart added | bamboo2
10/5/2018 14:34 | Completely agree!! All the best mate! | villarich

10/5/2018 12:40 | Why can't you do both? I've got a tranche I hold long term and also buy and sell to make a little extra. Done ok so far. | villarich
10/5/2018 11:31 | Trading KWS? Just buy and hold, takes the stress out of it :o) | bigbigdave
10/5/2018 08:55 | Haha yeah so true. I could only get 500 shares through my broker at 18.10 but that was enough on top of what I have already. | villarich
10/5/2018 08:30 | Cheers Rich, I guess I'm not the only early bird then! Got a starter holding at good prices. Funny how when the price drops it quickly goes order only. | bamboo2
10/5/2018 08:21 | Just bought back in too Bamboo. Still got my core holding but had to take a little nibble! | villarich

10/5/2018 06:59 | Superb results overnight from Electronic Arts, who beat forecasts and upgraded their outlook for 2019. Which all bodes well for the industry and suppliers like KWS: | rivaldo
03/5/2018 08:10 | Yes agree with that! Much prefer steady away than rollercoasters! Shame it couldn't quite hold £19 after breaking through and bouncing off it for a while. | villarich
02/5/2018 18:11 | Last retrace went to 50% of prior rise. 1802 is possible if it retraces by a similar percentage this time. | bamboo2
02/5/2018 17:47 | Maybe a slow less perceptible rise is better on the nerves. But nice to see it break 1900p today. | scooper72
02/5/2018 16:41 | Disappointing end to the day | villarich
