log looks like its struggling here to go much higher,it hasnt had many friends over the last few days,but im not confident enough to short it,if market goes negative ill probably short if it still looks weak.

these positive starts are great,but they dont help bats,lol,has not shot up this morniong at open like it usually does,however still got +2 out of it,L2 very weak,it rises more in a negative market,will continue to monitor,for opportunities in either direction.

Hi All,Dave just read ultraframe statement,seemed positive in parts,negative in other parts,says growth it has had will not continue?what did you make of it?according to my monitor its up 1.5p in pre trading

Britain's Carlton Communications beats full year pre-tax profits. WPP may fall after the group said it was on track to reach its long-term financial targets but could have trouble  meeting its goal of increasing earnings per share by 15 to 20 percent this year and next. Auto stocks are expected to be active on news that U.S. sales of new cars and trucks held at a robust pace in November,  Banks such as ABN Amro , Abbey National and Barclays with exposure to the ruined energy trader Enron Corp are seen moving ahead after the U.S. giant secured an emergency round of financing of $1.5 billion to run a skeleton operation. This could be the KEY for today as shorters in the banking sector close positions and push prices forward. Also the FTSE is heavily energy weighted so expect a rise in this sector as well. We could have a 50 point+ gain at some time today.  Infineon is expected to extend yesterday's gains on hopes of consolidation in the memory chip sector Anite turns profit into loss... Key Largo - Westin Beach hotel - poss the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in - good location, bit high on the price front, excellent service but best of all is the beach front restaurant several storeys up with a great view of sunset etc.

A morning drive down to Key West through all the Keys is a must. Visit Sloppy Joes for an evening drink and think of me. Also visit the museum and take the train ride around the town as they have a fascinating history of wrecking! Cuba's only 50 miles
