Looks good value if this is the only hiccup but will it be contained...
Took a position last week which was obviously too early in hindsight

Today in Keller's share price we are seeing two negative effects superimposed. The specific loss of around £15M profit on their Asian businesses (substantial, last PBT for Keller was £110M) and a 4% downtrend in stock markets. Doubtless some write-downs will be in order.

So we could expect a share price fall of 15% + 5% =20% so although the current fall of 30% is arguably an overreaction it is not massively so given that some might fear further bad news.

That said if I was not already invested I would think this would be a good entry point.

Overreaction?I'd like to think so,other than it's difficult to assess how Trumps little tariff game might have unforeseen impact. One of UBS's economists is making that point today, saying that US companies earn substantial money overseas and could be the poorer for a trade war.Keller's problems in Malaysia might be specific but who knows, such contagion could spread with China slowing. We're in a bear market I suspect. The S&P has had such a good run and there are profits aplenty to take that could further depress the relatively dowdy stockmarkets eleswhere.

£50,000 purchase by eng and ops director yesterday should underpin the price. Shows confidence as well above pocket money amount.

Recently taken a long position in KLR, like the fundamentals and growth prospects. May have made the cut for the FTSE250 today, will be close. If not it won't take much share price growth to get there in Nov, IMO.. DYOR!

I'm here too.

I've been in and out of KLR four times since 2007. Currently my largest holding built up mainly in 2014 but fortunately held nerve to top up for 650 in 2016. It always seems to have been a good business but because it depends heavily on external factors it needs to be watched.

The current share price seems to be more than justified so I expect a steady rise from here, which, together with a good and progressive dividend, means I won't be selling anytime soon.

I don't understand why KLR is not more popular, but who cares as long as it performs.

KLR is promoted to the FTSE250 tomorrow. Might be a bit of volume at close today.

Surprised the results haven't been that well received but perhaps it was all as expected anyway. Still seems reasonably priced to me so I've bought some more.

I think it's the tax cut. I'm feeling a bit sick because I was helping to reorganise my son's finances by realising some capital gains and reinvesting the same shares inside his ISA, which worked fine with all of them except this where I was waiting for it to fall back a bit before repurchasing! Doh!

The market seems to like the acquisition, not sure on what basis because the price is not mentioned. Maybe it is the US tax cut that is being factored in.

Would have thought that the passing of the tax cut bill would be seen as a real benefit to Keller but maybe you have to weigh it against a potential reduction in public sector finance .

No real volumes, and a stack of debt—is that the issue?
