Its demographics really Egypt population 1950 20 and a half million, now 104 million, Ethiopia 1950 18 and a half million now about 115 million. Then add in area of Egypt that is desert about 90 percent and the fact that about half of Ethiopia does not have any electrical supply.

Egypt especially will have to find multiple solutions to handle future population growth not going to get away with claiming practically the whole Nile.

Ah war that great distraction the elites play when they're up to no good. Speaking to several Ethiopians recently they've all said the same thing. That the instability in the country is being funded by the Zionist. Their words not mine, I have no way of verifying this, but it's all to do with the Nile dam and the fact that a large portion of the nile keeps Israel from becoming thirsty.

I can see your logic Katsy but it's a big assumption given the low level of volume. The Mines Minister does seem more keen to tweet cryptic messages about wiping out the Tigrayans than any investment for mining companies.

I imagine Harry would be only too pleased to get funding out the way and is sick to death of the delays. He failed to do so at ATYM (i.e. EMED) and has a stack of these in his pension pot. Not doing him much good languishing at this share price. Don't forget his income, some may say, but this has, and is, too my recollection, paid in share allotments. No cash in the company to do much else. If/when funding is achieved, I doubt he will hang around long - possibly just long enough to pick up those prospective bonuses.

Ok, just to keep the pot boiling, how many shares were in issue when Harry consolidated in 2017? About the same as we are projected to have with funding target hit?

Seems reasonable to expect another one then...but surely not before 5p?!

Topical its on the 11th still has to be confirmed over a couple of the participants which could mean that they are waiting for some kind of development before confirming. The mining minister did drop out of a couple of webinars before so his attendance or non attendance could be significant (one webinar was the same time as everything kicked off in Tigray though).

If the date of webinar is pushed back some days that could be a clue as well.

You know politicians they go missing when there is any kind of problem but always there when some good news to announce which they are happy to announce several times.

Hoping that some kind of Kefi related news drops just before the webinar and the Ethiopians use it to show the country and it’s mining industry are still open for business. Kefi news was expected about now or slightly later knowing Kefi habit of being late.

Mega dog old (damn spellcheck only joking) seems to be making good progress probably need any publicity as well as Kefi if not more to be another cab off the rank. If good news drops for Kefi before webinar, webinar will probably be of lesser importance than the response over here to the RNS.

Mining minister could be getting out of bed to just highlight Megado’s drilling campaign but he has not exactly been that active highlighting foreign mining companies so would he be attending just for that and just to highlight Ethiopia as a mining destination?

As usual trying to read between the lines did email AAMEG trying to get a bit of a stear but unsurprisingly did not get a reply.

I think it will as well but there is not much to be made here after all the dilution.

I think that is the main issue with the sp, lack of long term trust.
