Topical its on the 11th still has to be confirmed over a couple of the participants which could mean that they are waiting for some kind of development before confirming. The mining minister did drop out of a couple of webinars before so his attendance or non attendance could be significant (one webinar was the same time as everything kicked off in Tigray though).

If the date of webinar is pushed back some days that could be a clue as well.

You know politicians they go missing when there is any kind of problem but always there when some good news to announce which they are happy to announce several times.

Hoping that some kind of Kefi related news drops just before the webinar and the Ethiopians use it to show the country and it’s mining industry are still open for business. Kefi news was expected about now or slightly later knowing Kefi habit of being late.

Mega dog old (damn spellcheck only joking) seems to be making good progress probably need any publicity as well as Kefi if not more to be another cab off the rank. If good news drops for Kefi before webinar, webinar will probably be of lesser importance than the response over here to the RNS.

Mining minister could be getting out of bed to just highlight Megado’s drilling campaign but he has not exactly been that active highlighting foreign mining companies so would he be attending just for that and just to highlight Ethiopia as a mining destination?

As usual trying to read between the lines did email AAMEG trying to get a bit of a stear but unsurprisingly did not get a reply.

I think it will as well but there is not much to be made here after all the dilution.

I think that is the main issue with the sp, lack of long term trust.

Lol, and I'm an optimist. You should meet the missus. Whatever it is, it will not go well.

Mind you, she listened to an 'Arry webinar with me in 2017 as we were decorating - just after consolidation I think - and said she'd never heard such an uninteresting presentation and asked why we were invested in such a dull venture.

I reassured her that a major project was underway and locals were starting to be moved that very autumn to make way for it and we had to just be patient.

Luckily she's long forgotten said webinar and the name of Kefi...

Optimism turns to realism when the promises and aims turn out to be nothing but piffle...

Anything Harry touches never gets finished by him it seems. First time for everything, there, that's optimism!

Well I could be downbeat and have been many times in the past when deadlines were missed and more dilutions etc..in fact I voted against all the last resolutions just to send a message of my dissatisfaction....but I still believe this will get done and soon....but perhaps I am too optimistic...but we always have you Tops to bring our optimism down a step or 6 lol...I hope I'm right but it is a hope not a definite

Kefi have presented in this before in June last year at the same event. Still doubtful that Harry has the champagne ordered yet.

I think it to be a reasonable bet that the funding issue will have been resolved by the time the EG inspired conference opens. The EG need to provide something to give it some impetus after their recent spate of warnings to potential Miners in the country.

25% drop since May, but up 100% since the previous May. That's after, October becomes year end, year end becomes March, March becomes... you get the picture. And after dilution. And so it's anyone's guess,

Lol, that is always true until the RNS. But we can all read the signs, week after week, month after month, quarter after...well, you get the picture.

We have anticipated a delay or a reason for the funding not to be completed (hell, collapsed is too stupid to contemplate on such a gravy train) on each and every occasion and have yet to proven wrong.

Hence the 25% in our value since May. People aren't waiting for the RNS. Unionhall didn't at 2p and the last much anticipated 'news' 'deadline' - all of which have been implied by our dear Harry...

As has been suggested, a bit of Hawiah info will probably come next with a side note that TK discussions continue. And maybe a cash raising, whatever he said.

Is recent funding negotiations have collapsed, then, imho, a RNS will be required. Since no RNS has been issued, it seems reasonable to assume that the negotiations are still ongoing. Time will tell, of course.
