28/8/2020 09:19 | Been here 8 years or so ? Seems like a lifetime if I am honest cannot ever seem to pounce at the right time with KEFI only thing I know is you cannot guess with this share ! I have approx 4m shares and well under water however I have resolve and feel this will be the time ! | markb125
28/8/2020 08:55 | so i've been here virtually 10 years.... eeergh. must admit i always enjoy reading posts from oldtimers.... we should meet up for a jar or two when we are all happy! have to apologise for my irritating full name, i didnt realise until too late that real name was my username, and cannot be changed.. very stuffy and formal. call me Lyn guys! | jlwilliams
28/8/2020 08:24 | Here we go again bouncing off the 2.4 | 1deedee
28/8/2020 08:04 | copper just cracked $3 lb today | bosbus
28/8/2020 08:00 | Gold and copper both looking better today. A small update on where we are with the TK funding would have been welcome today..surely we at least know which of the various options we are going with by now? | matthew stone
28/8/2020 06:21 | Gold looking strong today. | mark10101
27/8/2020 23:05 | I've been around since Jeff Rayner was in charge and Kefi were still in Turkey. I bought when they started in Saudi(King Solomon's mine by Wendy D). I've led a very sad and penniless life. Hairyback was around with Honest Crust. Whatever happened to helpermonkey? TTT | tim_the_trout2
27/8/2020 21:17 | I hope it is Bosbus. As for suffering fools, they've tolerated moi for most of the decade so don't be ashamed about lack of knowledge - fervour and passion is just as welcome! A nice trip down memory lane from Rossendale with just a twang of fond memories of a portfolio that cracked £250k around 09/10 and, unlike Plimer, I didn't sell up. If we can move the decimal point one place to the left on Goatie's 167.45 I reckon most would accept the pain has been worth it. Why do I have a Chris Tarrant voice whispering in my ear "but I don't want to give you that..."? Topicel | topicel
27/8/2020 20:47 | I've stuck it out for nearly ten years and frequently been down by more than 70%. Have only discovered these message boards recently. I've resisted posting because everyone appears so knowledgeable and do not suffer fools gladly. I'm feeling very positive about where we're going and very lucky that by averaging down and selling a chunk on the occasional spike I have 750,000 at 1.528p. Bearing in mind I've never earned more than £25k ( Cornwall jobbing builder) this could be a life changer for me. | bosbus
27/8/2020 20:02 | Goaties post inspired me to look back at former threads. Lots of informative posts around Oct 10 on the 'Kefi minerals' thread onward from no 500-600 and from the beginning of the 'Into the kingdom' thread. Might give some new holders an insight as to the potential of Saudi Arabia and why some of us have stuck it out for ten years or so. TTT was the first of the current posters to appear, followed by estseon and this first post from our 'spiritual leader' (if I can call him that!) 'hairyback2 12 Oct 10 well i can only declare a miserly 400k at 2.625 after a gentleman tipped me yesterday. couldnt get any more in volume. sit tight and watch the fun. HB ' A first post by JLW appeared, but some of the regular posters of the time seem to have fallen by the wayside or like myself just read and enjoy the info and the banter. Names that were remembered include bikersteve, honest crust, JREwing, roughandtumb I'm hanging on here and probably need about 4p to break even with all the averaging down. Hopefully goatie will be able to leave his family a pile, JLW will have super SIPP and topicel will at last be content. Happy anniversary to all who have stuck it out for 10 years! | rossendale14
27/8/2020 17:55 | goatherd, i will be happy with the "old" high, which I think was the famous Plimer 10p wasn't it? bit younger than you, but still need to see some money within the next year or two! my breakeven is 7p, 3p over that would be fabulous | jlwilliams
27/8/2020 17:29 | davidspringbank, I do hope we see the highs; however I have doubts as to whether we ever will (at least in my lifetime - but then I am 85). The previous high (allowing for the 17:1 split) was about 167.45 on 12/1/2011. | goatherd
27/8/2020 16:44 | Topicel EUA turned around the value of my holdings substantially and I wish them well. I think Kefi has a lot going for it. It seems to be in the right place at the right time so I'm on board for the ride back to the highs and beyond. All the best, mate. | davidspringbank
27/8/2020 13:20 | 'Fed adopts new strategy, widely seen as leading to easier policy' Gold price up again ... | mister md
27/8/2020 13:00 | Updated my spreadsheet and now only £16k down! I did average down or it would be a lot worse so roll on 5.056p for breakeven. | digger2779
27/8/2020 12:57 | The best news we have had this year is undoubtedly KEFIs increased ownership of Tulu Kapi mine from 45% to 60%. And that this no longer needs to be funded with ANS equity. The market cap of £40m largely ignores the quickly advancing Saudi assets, which will surely dwarf Tulu Kapi. As far as I can see this has increased my mine ownership by 33% | riotinted_specs
27/8/2020 12:48 | You are in at a very good price. A darn sight better than most of the LTIs who choose to remain for the big upside | riotinted_specs
27/8/2020 12:43 | Chunky trades going through, feels like it could be an interesting afternoon. | mark10101
27/8/2020 11:45 | If the old saying was sell on funding news we are pretty safe. ;-) | taxlosstone
27/8/2020 10:20 | small spread with KEFI has historically meant it is just about to drop back! I just can't see that many people wanting to sell at this point in time so may be a small drop before the next rise. The other historic is a "Sell on news"! | scars
27/8/2020 09:37 | I'm in for 1 mil let's see where this goes! | bmwman3
27/8/2020 08:56 | Small spread bodes well imo. | ccr1958
27/8/2020 08:31 | Jaylett from AGM statement “KEFI remains focused on the preparations and subsequent completion of the outlined finance milestones to ensure the closing of full Project funding in October 2020 and for gold production to commence in 2022, in line with recent guidance. This month we focus on finalisation of the detailed terms sheets with the preferred provider of subordinated debt/offtake-linked finance, likewise for the Project equity.“ News next week? | robjm66
27/8/2020 08:24 | Looking very strong for a very big move, few charts look as good as this and with news not far away looks a good combination to me. | mark10101
27/8/2020 08:22 | 2.39 being paid, looking extremely bullish on expectation. | scars |
