10/1/2020 13:56 | Not surprised to see share price almost back to where it started before this week's news. The market has been flooded with all these extra shares and am wondering if some of the contractors are selling to get hard cash for the work they have done so far. This is Kefi after all and until ANS part with the money the only was is down unless we get another drill update from Saudi to bolster the share price for a while? | digger2779

10/1/2020 12:28 | Thanks all. So, MM unlimited cross deals are legal, and it is immaterial, afaiac, whether it is ethical. Logically, then, the possibility that such is happening bears consideration when I try to resolve what is going on with a share price. As goatherd says, the MMs are there to make a market, and can largely make it where they wish - particularly with AIM stocks. t | scrappycat
10/1/2020 12:07 | Certainly legal. The clue is in their job title "Market Maker" they have to be able to manipulate in order to make. Personally I also think it is ethical. | goatherd
10/1/2020 11:43 | Market Manipulation (MM) .... ethical, no. Legal, don’t know | bejubiant
10/1/2020 11:13 | Normal business from Monday after Eth xmas.Ans funds countdown begins, and most probably HAA bring something from Saudi (as rushed on the same day as GM to saudi) and maybe also drill results too.News on number of fronts. | shafaq

10/1/2020 10:35 | They need to reconsider their strategy :-) | the charmer
10/1/2020 10:28 | Richsmithsmith, Thanks for that info. It is clear that the MMs want to keep the share price as low as they reasonably can, and are trying to discourage buying. | scrappycat
10/1/2020 10:22 | It is quite clear what is happening and it is becoming more transparent as we we progress. :-) | the charmer
10/1/2020 10:11 | Most of them are buys. (Have had some myself and it appeared as a sell) | richsmithsmith
10/1/2020 10:08 | Given the situation, I find it difficult to rationalise where these apparent sales are coming from. It seems impossible to believe that true investors are selling, and the scope for trading has been minimal of late. Would anyone care to hazard a guess? I am not that conversant with the rules of the LSE, and am curious to know the licence MMs have to sell to other MMs. Could shares be traded backwards and forwards just to create an illusion of selling. Funding money could be received any day from now on, and it is in the interest of the MMs to keep the price as low as possible, so that they can benefit more from the inevitable gap up when funding comes. All very puzzling to me. | scrappycat
10/1/2020 08:23 | Must be due next set of drill results soon? | scars
10/1/2020 07:56 | Good work on your success there Andy, let's hope the timing of switching investments works well for you.I have a similar position, i'll start with profits I have to reinvest and I may top up further depending on how long share price stays around lows. | atticusfinch1
10/1/2020 03:09 | Been watching and waiting. When I sold a few months ago, I was lucky enough to choose some great short term trades which doubled my money. I am now putting that back into Kefi.I have been avidly reading any news releases and the last one convinced me to come back. This is now potentially a life changing opportunity to generate wealth. Of course, the market cannot shake of its doubts. That isn't at all surprising given the history of this company. But it seems to me that we have advance notice of a 99.99 percent certainty but the market is giving it about a 1 percent chance of success. Hence the price didn't really react. But we know that the reaction will be nothing short of explosive when the money drops and the mine gets built. Literally days, or perhaps a couple of weeks, to wait now. What a relief it will be to see a share that only falls turn into a share that only rises. | andysand
09/1/2020 23:25 | That's about it. Risk / reward. Risk, maybe down to a penny if markets decided to crash, gold took a bath and junior resource sector started falling. Upside, well.. take a guess. Once those funds arrive, they are on the way to being a producer, and you don't find many of those with the margins they have on TK for this market cap. | smackeraim
09/1/2020 20:04 | Thanks all, really appreciate your input. Indeed this does look very interesting and on the face of it undervalued, balance of risk and reward looks favourable. | atticusfinch1
09/1/2020 19:57 | This is how I see it - whatever ANS have signed by way of agreement simply must include some kind of obligation to pay promptly, otherwise what is the point? We can (justifiably) carp about the 1.25p price, but the RNS today at least shows HAA and the board have bought more shares on which they will expect a decent return; they will not want any further delays or dilution any more than we do. The current share price doesn't reflect anything, I think, other than supply and demand - around 300m shares have been issued @ 1,25p in the last few days, and apart from the 6th Jan we simply haven't had the volume to absorb those happy to sell for a quick 10-20% profit. Once we do, I would expect the price to rise sharply - there's still been some big buys going through in the last few days, and plenty of people can see the potential longer term value here. In an ideal world, we will get some good news from KSA first to give us the volume we need, closely followed by the ANS payment we are all waiting for... | matthew stone
09/1/2020 18:24 | As the subscription agreements have been signed and returned, ANS are now contractually obliged to pay over the money. The monies will therefore be paid and we are told that this will be this month. This contractually binding requirement to pay the sums is vastly different to the situation before which was merely their expression of intent to participate in the subscription and which could be changed by them or delayed at will. I am very confident that the monies will be paid this month. Yes there are certain procedures that need to be followed. Yes there could be a short period of delay as a result, this is possible albeit not probable, but that will not matter should it happen as the monies are coming and there will now be a mine. The share price does not reflect this and in the coming days or weeks as payment is made, the share price will imho rise significantly. 1.4-1.5p is a total steal and will in the near term be shown to be. As ever DYOR. | sicilian_kan
09/1/2020 17:24 | ANS have been asked to pay anytime that they feel like it. Not as if we are desperate for working capital or anything. :-(Seriously though, their money could arrive at any time. | taxlosstone
09/1/2020 17:11 | Thanks robjm66, appreciate the overview. (no pre-sequel planned.. without Harper it would never be the same) As mentioned I'm starting to research, so your overviewhelpful to frame. I'm interested in the funding as you call out, and what's needed to get his into production, eg. TKGM what capex requirement, influcture requirements and is agreed/ funded - I see projected cash flows of 73mPA over 8 years. I see Kefi moved from explorer to explorer/developer. Presume this is where ANS partnership will also help? (on the board I note some decent expereince (David Munro) I like the KSA angle as exploration/mining open up, and clearly Kefi has a headstart and good JV in place. In regard to ANS what's the next milestone? Are we due an RNS release this month to confirm progress? Sorry bit random in terms of thoughts as I'm researching through. | atticusfinch1
09/1/2020 16:55 | atticusfinch1, One thing that might be missed in your research, perhaps, is the attitude of the EG to the development of the mine. They have expressed the view, including internationally, that it will become their biggest, and most important, foreign currency earner. That being so, it seems certain that the future development and expansion plans will meet with their full co-operation and timely approval. A very significant, and important point, imho. | scrappycat
