06/1/2020 12:58 | TTT, I guess that nothing will happen in Ethiopia until the shares are issued. Who knows what developments there may be in Saudi to keep Harry busy whilst awaiting the funding money. It may be, that the drilling program may have provided sufficient evidence for a revised JORC valuation? That would surely up the ante for the share price when funding receipt is finally confirmed. | scrappycat
06/1/2020 12:49 | Now that the GM is over and subscription docs completed, feel floodgates about to open up on more news as cash to arrive anyday now and interesting thing is H is meeting partners in SA rather than Ethiopia where action is about to begin. But interesting to see discussing "new initiatives" with partners.Hold for gold. | shafaq
06/1/2020 12:14 | I like the sound of this ...... "I am very pleased that I fly this evening to Saudi Arabia and then to Ethiopia for partner meetings to review with our colleagues the up-to-date status and to launch a number of initiatives" After today's great news I would have thought Harry would be off to Ethiopia first. 06/1/2020 12:06 | Oilisgold, Why do placing shares need to be sold? | goatherd
06/1/2020 12:01 | All good chaps. Volume and traders all good. Placing shares dont forget need to be sold. Once RNS confirms money has arrived then should see nice gains. | oilisgold
06/1/2020 11:31 | Exactly Robjm66, the opportunity for cheap entry was mid December imo, when the placing was announced. Time to take positions :) | smackeraim
06/1/2020 11:16 | rob, With no shares available in the Treasury, they were unable to satisfy any demand for additional shares until such shares were created at the GM. The receipt of the relevant completed documentation from the ANS/EG guarantees the purchase of the new shares by them, hence the need for the GM. The shares are available to the market from the 10th Jan, and there seems little reason for much of a delay in settlement (i.e. funding) after that date IMO. | scrappycat

06/1/2020 10:42 | FingerTrouble, If this company was in the FTSE, this would not be an exploration company. Totally different requirements of the board. However, if, and when, KEFI reaches mid cap status, I anticipate that Harry will still be in charge, unless he decides to retire. The EG and the African banks obviously trust and respect him. As for your comment, 'very little in the way of results', I consider reaching this point, despite innumerable demanding setbacks, to be a remarkable achievement by the Board in general, and Harry in particular. For that, I thank them/him, as I am certain I will end up with a very significant profit. PS. I have been a shareholder for countless years too. | scrappycat
06/1/2020 10:42 | Hate to sound cynical think they might have waited a bit longer if things were going to take longer than sometime (anytime) this month Whatnow1. | robjm66
06/1/2020 10:37 | So, would HAA and others choose to convert monies owed into shares instead of taking the cash if they thought that there might be a chance first tranche due wouldn`t come through? | whatnow1
06/1/2020 10:20 | "I am delighted to confirm the signed subscriptions of ANS Mining into the Project company. Whilst we have been working closely with ANS Mining for some time and developed an excellent relationship, I am now pleased to be able to welcome them formally as partners.” "Following first funds flow this month we will commence phase one of the community resettlement, trigger debt implementation and detail the final procurement and contractual arrangements with the principal Project contractors.” Cutting through all the noise two things we have been waiting for, ANS to sign on the dotted line and then to pay up got one of those things and will get the other otherwise ANS would not have signed. Going to be some optimists hoping to get in at a much lower share price going to lose out ditto some pessimists that will not buy some till the money drops in the bank. As a long time holder topped up the other day and still expect the money to drop and further goods news from KSA. Guess that makes me an incurable optimist:-) | robjm66
06/1/2020 10:16 | The ANS cash is required for the relocation. Tomorrow is the Ethiopian Christmas, so the relocation won't be this week as the local government officials will be involved and their offices will be empty. They might find the gear lever to push into first gear next week. | estseon
06/1/2020 10:14 | The likes of Harry pay themselves handsomely with very little in the way of results ... if this was FTSE he’d have long gone by now. | fingertrouble
06/1/2020 10:12 | In which case, you are laughing at your own ineptitude. You are obviously clueless as to what is going on, particularly with reference to the latest share issue. | scrappycat
06/1/2020 10:11 | My gut feeling and this has been the general theme played out by Kefi is that nothing will come of Tulu Kapi and it’ll be something else that’s going to be wonderful and turn your 1p into £1. The BD are dreamers but they’r not the ones suffering. | fingertrouble
06/1/2020 10:09 | All known from a few weeks ago | smackeraim
06/1/2020 10:02 | Let me get this right, they’ve had a GM as far away as possible from the UK and voted themselves more shares and yet more dilution; and there was no opposition to this resolution? LMAO ... stand and deliver! | fingertrouble
06/1/2020 09:51 | In a few weeks time should rerate heavily | costax1654x
