Completely agree, I know a couple of very large financing firms looking at KEFI as a guinea pig for Ethiopian investment. And they are not at all impressed. This leads to investment in other national jurisdictions. The knock-on economic swing of foreign investment in Ethiopia is huge. This can no longer be pushed off as 'Its Just Africa' as there is a world of investment opportunity and with each day that passes - not week the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the minister of mines Samuel Urkato and others are losing the confidence of important foundational mining investment institutions. And their reputation withers away with it. Are Ethiopia serious about mining OR NOT? With an unimpressive inflation rate of 21.5% and a corresponding need for hard currency, one would think that it bloody well should be. They need to prove it now as it will not just be about the reputations of top government officials but the economic well being and health of a nation.

Looking like a strong run into close despite AT’s being used to paint a different picture.....

Just to get it in first “I would not want to be out of this over the weekend“ :-)

It's about time the lads from ANS bought a round. They've been drinking all night on everyone else's coin, the LTHs have already paid for six rounds with chasers and peanuts, and if they don't tip up some money soon someone's getting filled right in in the carpark.

Stop hiding behind the fruity and get your wallets out ffs.

Saudi is the big one but in order to make it happen we need a cash cow. That cash cow is TK but we need someone to stump up the money to kick start trigger or whatever you wish to call it.

AdrianThe same names have been here since 2010/11 and we all came for SA and its potential.Like you I became sick and tired of all the dross appearing on the old bb and my filters took out page after page of comments. All the time I was losing more of my large 6 figure investment but I never lost faith in the end result having put a 10 year life on my investment paying dividends. With TK it should just make the time of 10 years. With averaging down I have made my breakeven 4.5p.This board needs controlling to keep the dross away.I look forward to the old days of waiting for the buses to arrive in the form of SA exploration licences but this time without the years between each one.neilg

Apparently we were at the mercy of such licensed bandits as Lanstead, Sanderson & some anonymous lender because we weren't spoiled for choice. We've been waiting since August 2018 for ANS's money because nobody else stepped up to the plate in unfriendly market conditions. With Ye Olde Bond issue in the bag, suddenly from left field a local "consortium" wants in. By definition, we had a choice. I hope that for once we have written in certain protections for us & commitments from the newly selected long term finance provider. It's well overdue that we flex a few muscles if the Company is such a great investment.

@adrian1001 - very true. With failed deadline after failed deadline and nothing actually delivered (no money, no paperwork, no signatures) it's hardly surprising the share price is stagnant. It's been all waffle up until now, and until something is actually delivered the share price will not jump.

Most of the long termers here bought in purely for Saudi, long before TK. Ive seen more figures and calculations in the years ive been here than you can shake a stick at. There is nothing new in Saudi, its been there since we all bought in. The potential is enormous we all know that, all my point was to say that it matters not what the MM's do or don't do, what the NPV is etc, all the squabbling and bickering means nothing. Until the money is in the bank and the first spade is in the ground it means nothing, Too many years have been spent seeing people come and go all purporting this or that. Its our time very SOON, haha.

regards

Adrian

The resource sector has never in the history of the markets been as cheap relative the wider market as it is now, calling the bottom is not an easy job but the upside for all resource stocks is huge from here. If Harry can deliver while the resource market becomes more bullish this could be a run to remember.

Funnily enough, as I posted recently, for investing in a gold company I am actually very interested in the copper story developing here with our green transition.

Added again this morning to slightly build my position. No brainer, this is going to pop before any RNS and when ANS funding is formally signed - it will explode. The MMs can not hold back this buying pressure. Short term multibagger if I have ever seen one. Stable African nation, unparalleled social license and government backed all the way to the prime minister. As a point of fact this mine will represent the single largest export generator for Ethiopia. Huge first movers advantage with an additional 1.3 million ounces right underneath the near surface open pit 1.3 million. Derisked with little to no downside. Imagine with a market cap of £15 million. Not to mention the very expansive Saudi Arabian shield footprint of VMS deposits of which many feel to to be an even a larger opportunity - progressing swimmingly well. All KEFI with the respective governments full cooperation backed up with co-funding.HUGE first movers advantage and more exploration earmarked in these respective jurisdictions

Adrian,

That attitude is fair enough for those that are fully loaded. But for those accumulating these on the cheap there is a real opportunity developing here. Grades blah blah blah is the same opinion of the market right now. They've missed the significance of drilling a VMS strike already circa 1.5kms from depths as shallow as 5.5m and some grades reported so far as high as 4%+ Cu and 1.9g/t Au. That's a fab start over a decent strike (which may continue for a total of 5kms too from this first VMS). For those that ignore this and think, I'll sit back until they infill that and get SS and JORC. Well bear in mind that the ANS money is due before/around year end and construction of TK to shortly follow. If they continue in the same form as recently we'll get some more very shallow and potentially commercial grades from Saudi, those assets could potentially be more significant than the large Eth gold reserves. In this game its always a good idea to be ahead of the market. KEFI is up there on my to buy list at the moment. Cap is tiny vs TK let alone the new large discovery in Saudi. Some will sit back and wait as you say for ANS, but its not just ANS anymore, Saudi is going great guns, dream start.

Regards,
Ed.
