15/4/2021 00:55 | Just imagine a real CEO in charge here.... Can you even begin to imagine? This is the flaw. A CEO for this company needs to be a salesman with an engaging personality for starters.... | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:51 | Oh bahamarama how pleased I am that someone picked the double zero up. I played french roulette with a nuanced split duillabard strategy - rouge ou noir - as an interim living in Monaco and the difference between one zero and two zeros is nothing short of enormous. | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:50 | Any aim share is especially a punt in my book, Rio. That's the fun of it really. Risk reward. Let's see.. assets haven't disappeared so... | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:46 | And welcome but there is a fundamental difference between a punt and wanting to own part of a company that you believe in. Is that fair? | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:46 | Lol Yes it's spot on tbf. Mentality everything but Harry sending us mental. | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:45 | Classic example everybody wants to sit when the price is low. Its true ... I am no different. It is nature. That is why I never listen to myself - which is what makes a true contrarian. The very Best Buy price possible and yet we are shy and apprehensive. Example if the share price sinks to 2.1p I am all in.... but 1.89p no chance.... strange, true but wrong 99.9 percent of the time. Institutional investors come and mop it all up, and the retail folk come back in at 2.5. Predictable as the sun rises and sets. Moral of the story is either stop being human or treat investments as your favourite cans of tuna on sale. And when one knows and has conviction in their investment they welcome sale discounts on the company they are invested in. | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:44 | Unless there could be chance of a bargain bucket clear out eh ;) haha | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:43 | Average 1.90 so still have to get it down. Hmmmm lol ;) | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:43 | Remind yourself, as you are, what WB lives by:Be greedy when others are fearful... etc etcMakes sense to me..!!!! | bahamarama
15/4/2021 00:42 | I bought for the assets Rio and that's what I try to do - this was always a little punt management wise from what I saw with history so. Only one person to blame ever in truth and that's the guy that presses buy and sell lol | theaviator
15/4/2021 00:36 | It is a phenomenal character trait of humans. They never like to buy stocks on sale. Walk in to your grocery store and cans of tuna are heavily discounted - what do we do - well we buy them in spades. Stocks - not so much - happy and proud to get in at 2.25p what an AMAZING PRICE, but 1.85p ohhh nooo way ... I would not touch it with a ten foot pole. And that is fundamentally why retail investors are not considered the smart money. Simples. | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:34 | I may have, honestly, bought a few more on today's drop. But I topped up elsewhere. (On a worse one..!! Grrr..!!). I'll juggle my funds if I can. If not, I bought here for a reason. All good. | bahamarama
15/4/2021 00:30 | Pardon me - but ON value not ON price - that is if one has conviction - if they do not then it will always be a 50/50 roulette bet - and fittingly there is a zero in roulette. So without conviction the house always wins. | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:26 | Never if you feel it is worth it. Buy in value it on price | riotinted_specs
15/4/2021 00:16 | I'm still in too. My problem is I can't help myself buying but think I have enough. My first buy was in the 2.30's so you are lower than me am sure. Let's see what happens.... | theaviator
14/4/2021 21:11 | That said do I believe the Ethiopians want local investors to invest and this is one of the reasons we are not yet closed (yes) and so I believe the central government may be stalling to May or June to announce good news on investment and jobs before the election (yes)....time will tell I guess | belfastboyo
14/4/2021 21:05 | Of course they will and then they will do as well as Cuba or Venezuela has done over the last 50 years...only really stupid governments nationalise private companies & not those that want foreign investments...do some research.....for all its faults Ethiopia has been and is one of the worlds fastest growing economies...I'm not happy with the slow progress but keep it real ffs. | belfastboyo
14/4/2021 20:30 | The next part mentions “mining contractor to invest in KEFI shares”. I’ve not checked back through to see if this is new, someone else may know. I’m not sure when they would start doing this? But as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve known shares trade sideways for months and whilst everyone is bored, frustrated, scared, impatient, someone fills their boots. I’ve not personally experienced a big buyer in the background who has driven the price upwards, shooting themselves in the foot whilst doing so. | rich1e
14/4/2021 20:15 | @richie - that is a fair point. Well spotted. Personally, these RNS's have proven to be so inaccurate that I don't think it's possible to determine anything meaningful from them anymore. But well played for going through it with a fine tooth comb. | sussexlibran1 |
