24/10/2014 16:14 | Hi SG, GHT is my epitome of a software firm to avoid. KBC has application expertise (although the guy who wrote the first version is from elsewhere). TRCS has hardware. Any damn fool can run an algorithm. Prejudiced - moi? I agree strongly about UK facing, I've taken the view that the UK is going bust for many a long year - so why do I want to own all of PNN! I guess consistency is the refuge of the unimaginative. apad | apad
24/10/2014 15:28 | APAD, I also need convincing, at 12x 2015 and expected net cash of £19m, PS6 + Multiflash + Maximus, and a wall of business in the Middle East, yielding 1%, it's better than sitting in cash, plus it's not UK facing with a General Election next year. It's a potential growth story, just gotta prove it up with some chunky orders and earnings upgrades. New CEO next year! KONGSBERG a potential acquirer. Kestrel a buyer, but they're not perfect, just look at GHT. | simon gordon
24/10/2014 15:13 | I have increased KBC and TSTL today. KBC following K purchases, but I am not entirely convinced. TSTL because they might be becoming a brand, but I am not entirely convinced. apad | apad
24/10/2014 14:51 | IC pointing to Kestrel purchases. apad | apad
24/10/2014 14:45 | Bakunin, Looks like healthy distribution, technically it's right on the bottom of gap support from 2002. To me, it feels like it will run to 100p for Xmas. Jingle bells! | simon gordon
17/10/2014 18:09 | Bakunin, 12x 2015 is probably about right until they prove up order replacement for Ecuador. If they start landing some big Mid East consulting and software contracts and earnings are upgraded maybe they can get up to 15x and more. It looks possible that Konnensburg will take them over one day. Kestrel will want to monetise their investment at some point and they look like they'd be a good fit. It certainly is a comfort blanket whilst they develop the upstream business. | simon gordon
17/10/2014 13:15 | KBC has had a lot of weak hands holding the share which came from the multiple tips by Simon Thompson at the IC and the Naked Trader. Many of ST's tips are imploding and no doubt some tip jockeys are dumping due to this and general market conditions where they are sick of the sight of red on their screens, KBC is pretty illiquid so selling begets selling. Now looks to have stabilised and is decent'ish value. | simon gordon
17/10/2014 07:31 | Bakunin - where did you get the net assets figure of £61 mil. My read is total assets £60.3 Mil, total liabilities £23.8 mil, so NAV of £36.5 (compared with Mcap of £71.5. | gargleblaster
17/10/2014 07:17 | Good to see that the Board sees value at these levels. Just under GBP 200k spent on buybacks over the last few days. Would be nice to see some more directors buying, in addition to the Kestrel buys. | gargoyle2
14/10/2014 10:01 | Kestrel stepping in for another 25k today? They've been mopping up recently. | gargoyle2
10/10/2014 20:55 | Have you people realised that this is a major correction bordering a crash? nothing to do with the company, but buying now it is not the most clever thing to do... | pinkcopernicus
10/10/2014 16:46 | If Kestrel were aware of anything then I'm not sure they would be allowed to be buying at present | wh1spa |
