Yes I see it now - the mini spike last week, prior to good but not special news, was just to allow the participants in the next placing to short their allocation, for a guaranteed profit. You would think when I have been investing for so long that I would have recognised it by now. I think confirmation bias is a very strong force in everyone...

Placing 100M shares at 0.3p for £300k? That will keep the lights on for a few more months.

The management have failed badly to understand how bent and brutal AIM is for minnows, and to project their own company's cash requirements. If they had raised substantially more in previous placings at much higher prices when there was demand, we would still be at or above 2p.

In fact. never mind "substantially more", just raising an extra £1M in their placing at 6p (!) 2 years ago, would have seen us still above 2p now.

The question now is whether to sell out or to buy more at the next placing price?

I think that they should be able to get another moderate placing away in the short term, but only at far below the level of the last one (0.6p).

The share price then began a new leg downwards in early July, apparently because of the need to raise additional funds.

And then on 27th. August the company announced that it had conditionally raised £04.M. at 0.6p, i.e. 80% of the previous sum, at barely a third of the price. -

Interesting, I can still sell all mine in one go. I wonder if there is a big buy in the system at say 0.5p and the MMs are trying to shake out shares to fill it?

I guess the problem is that we will need further money to progress... So possible risk of a further placing... But if there is major positive news then perhaps we could place at say 1.5p or 2p even?GLA NAI

We're waiting for the Maiden Mineral Resource Statement as a result of the drilling campaign which was to be paid for from the proceeds of the discounted placing at 0.60p. The placing could only proceed after a capital reorganisation which needed the General Meeting. All this wasn't confirmed until the rns of 23rd September.

The Maiden Resource Statement was originally promised for 4th quarter 2019.

I'm not really expecting it until early 2020 (what small miner ever manages to keep to its own schedule?).

So, unless some amazing discoveries have been made, I don't think there'll be any action until January.
