In my view we perhaps won't get indifference tomorrow. New fundamentals will either motivate decently higher as we begin to look at a bowl back to +600p or it'll take the chance it may have been looking for and trapdoor it on the way to sub 400p.

PEEL HUNT RECONFIRMS GBX 590.00 PRICE OBJECTIVE ON KAZ MINERALS PLC (LON:KAZ), RECONFIRMS "BUY" RATING. They currently have a GBX 590.00 price target on Kaz Minerals PLC (LON:KAZ). Peel Hunt's target would suggest a potential upside of 23.88% from the company's last stock price. This was revealed in an analyst note on Monday morning.

Interesting point. I guess they feel if the company does well, so should they, regardless of why.

The last update suggests results through the medium term will be positive. Sadly, as per results prior it won't be worth much of a dime if Cu doesn't play ball.

The company can only do what the company can do. That said digging through the last annual report it's interesting to see (and I'm going from memory here) that something like 20% of managements bonus is allocated to the copper price (performance).

Interesting! I mean, within the realms of sensibility how can they influence and be measured on it?!

MELBOURNE, Australia--Rio Tinto PLC's (RIO) shipments of iron ore from its operations in Australia's western Pilbara were dented by cyclones and rough weather in the first quarter, while mined copper production was hit hard by a 43-day strike at a mine in Chile.But while the Anglo-Australian miner scaled back its target for copper output this year, it held to its guidance for iron ore.

Copper shows no let up of breaking the downward trend from the 13th of February. Need a spike back up to the 2.65 region!
