07/6/2019 20:55 | Hi mf, Did you use a trendline apex to time your buy? Just reviewing a few charts and it looks good timing if you did. LM chart shows 2x potential turns on 3/6/2019 | bamboo2
07/6/2019 19:46 | EVs yes and how about the Silk Road initiative reinfrastructurimg half the world. And KAZ able to easily supply the demand by its superb proximity. HUGE! | riotinted_specs
07/6/2019 19:22 | Yep, you need to look out over the next 6 - 24 months. Copper is just been sentiment driven piggy backed by hedgies. This will change as sure as eggs are eggs | optastic
07/6/2019 08:49 | Electrical Vehicles will be the main copper drivers on top of the usual demand from traditional construction projects. All the big car manufacturers are massively reverting to EV's. In the UK alone, JLR is giving top priority to EV's. I think copper will be much more expensive than what we see now. | fuji99
06/6/2019 19:06 | Either way they'll need loads of copper so wouldn't worry too much | mr roper
05/6/2019 12:17 | I am struggling to see a way out of the current US-China trade spat. China has enjoyed special terms since the West encouraged the Peoples Republic of China to embrace industrial growth over 40 years ago. The United States wants the communists to abide by the rules and the Chinese leadership doesn't want to do so as that would undermine their authority. The choice is Capitalism or Communism, and China has to decide. I suppose there might be a shoddy compromise but the current contradictions will still be there. | tymedici
04/6/2019 10:28 | Down she goes kitty cats. | tradejunkie2
04/6/2019 10:15 | Bought back in today. Trend looks to be reversed, if it moves up 40% from here it will only get back to where it was 6 weeks ago | mad foetus
31/5/2019 11:06 | Yes, fair point 'Fuji99' but it is the cost of extraction rather than its rarity which makes copper 'precious'. I understand KAZ is a low cost producer. Perhaps someone can confirm this. On the question of the 'US-China Trade Spat'. A major sticking point is the US wish that China should pass legislation in order to illustrate its commitment to conform with world standards of trading behaviour. IMO this will never happen as China is a one party communist state (even if it does have Chinese characteristics). The surprise is that the American negotiators never realized this and that the Chinese decided to leave it right to the last minute to remind Trump that China is a dictatorship and will never 'kow-tow' to Western standards of behaviour. | tymedici
31/5/2019 10:09 | For those who understand the strategic importance of copper for the renewable energies (EV's etc.) it is the best time to load the likes of KAZ for the future. This will be one of the top players in copper as copper will probably become similar to Precious Metals, so more valuable than it is now. | fuji99
30/5/2019 11:13 | ........and weeeee down it keeps going | porsche1945
29/5/2019 07:17 | ATYM PE is 9 - not 9.5 while KAZ PE is 5.9, less than 6. | fuji99
28/5/2019 20:05 | ATYM PE 4.5 is even more undervalued | riotinted_specs
28/5/2019 13:31 | Porsche - You are wasting your time as KAZ is not a shorted stock. Then can your single faint voice change anything for a 2.5 billion company ? doubt it ... . . Then try to compare this to other companies. So mind the step ... In fact I can see the share price reaching £7 in less than a month if clouds just clarify slightly with China. You are dealing with the lowest PE ratio in the whole mining sector (< 6); so too cheap. | fuji99
28/5/2019 12:49 | Good luck and sod off. | mustau
28/5/2019 11:26 | Unloaded these at 9.80 thought I had sold too soon, just saying a prayer of thanks. Phew. Something terminal about kaz, too much going on with this that isnt about the copper price. Same with Ferrexpo and they all remind me of the stitch up and share holder wipe out that went on with ENRC. Why risk it, you are just waiting all the time for some bit of dodgy dealing/management to come out all the time and blast the share price. If these are where they are now at this point in a cycle which is fast hitting the wall then downside more likely than upside, wasnt long ago these were at about .90p. A few grand punt on them ok but more than that too scary. | porsche1945
24/5/2019 07:56 | bit of an improvement in copper price since UK close yesterday and should be a little bounce today | arja
23/5/2019 16:33 | As is copper lol. | penrith
23/5/2019 08:33 | All KAZ historical correction cycles were followed by sharp and strong recoveries. During the last one, it was touching £8 during intra-day spikes. So the share price is sharp up and down. | fuji99
23/5/2019 08:09 | kaz getting hammered again. looking dirt cheap. hopefully 500p it finds support | ric0chet
23/5/2019 05:58 | Cheap ... about to get cheaper a bit more | ayesha4
22/5/2019 22:32 | Looking good kitty cats. Like a ski slope. | tradejunkie2
22/5/2019 12:35 | Now one of the cheapest miners with a PE ratio of just 6 while its peers are double digits. | fuji99
19/5/2019 16:24 | KAV Some nice words in the morning note from the highly respected mining analyst John Meyer at share price Angel ref: LSE:KAV / www.kavangoresources Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 3.6p, Mkt Cap £5.7m – Laws of probability to be rewritten after Kavango strikes mineralisation in first and second drill holes under Karoo sand in Botswana Kavango, which is exploring for a large-scale bushveld igneous-type mineralisation reports results from a second drill hole in Botswana. The team which are highly experienced in the geology of the region have used geophysical data and remote sensing to establish drilling locations. Remarkably, the first drill hole hit mineralisation under the sandy Karoo sediments Even more remarkably the second drill hole is reported to have also hit mineralisation including copper in chalcopyrite with a 1.5% XRF gun reading. X-Ray Frequency gun readings are not considered to be reliable due to their potential for miss-reporting but we do place some value on the readings when in the honorable hands of Messrs. Foster and Moles. The first drill hole hit a 200m zone of intensely altered rock with indicative cobalt values of up to 0.9%, averaging 0.2% cobalt and >70m of elevated copper, zinc, lead and nickel values. Conclusion: Kavango is worth watching and we await results from drill core assays. While we never doubted the skill of the geological team we are surprised and impressed to see two sets of mineralised results in so short a time frame. Well done team! | cpap man
