Posted at 12/4/2021 16:31 by keylifeskills1 What happens if an investor still refuses to accept takeover by not selling their shares and is willing to 'bite the bullet' (so to speak) and take their chances with the company going private? Read on another board; they will become private shareholders in US once the Company delists from FTSE on 11th May. Is this possible and if so, is anyone thinking of taking this route? |

Posted at 18/11/2020 07:28 by amunro Yes, wonder if it will work. Investors probably not interested in 2026; more interested in the here and now? Anyhow if KAZ went private they would still need to finance the $8 billion so its obviously been thought of? |

Posted at 29/10/2020 08:35 by bladerunneruk This is the first stage of bartering. The wealthy people who want to buy it are trying to purchase it at a ridiculously low price. We are the people selling. We all know It's worth 800 to 1000. We refuse to sell until they offer a fair price. They can't simply complete a compulsory purchase without a majority agreement. Yesterday was their opportunity to purchase some on the cheap by frightening some investors into thinking they would only receive 640. |

Posted at 28/10/2020 08:03 by podgyted "The Consortium believes that there is a strong strategic rationale for the Acquisition, recognising that KAZ Minerals' focus on developing and operating large scale, low cost copper mines in Kazakhstan and the CIS region has enabled it to successfully progress a pipeline of growth projects, including its largest assets in Kazakhstan, Aktogay and Bozshakol. The Consortium also believes that KAZ Minerals' decision to dedicate efforts to a capital intensive strategy focused on long term growth remains the optimal long term strategic path for KAZ Minerals. The Consortium recognises this may be misaligned with the preference of many investors in the mining sector."Says it all. |
Posted at 05/6/2020 09:54 by tymedici Yes, but that was always the question troubling investors. But today's RNS doesn't alter that. In fact some delay was probably inevitable in the current Covid-19 climate IMO. Buying opportunity/reason to sell? |
