I think these are the first two drill targets

First drilling will be here. They sound like pretty big targets.

KSZ Project – Ditau Prospect

At the Ditau Prospect, which has a strike of over 7km, multiple lines of AMT surveying have now identified two elongated conductors extending from just below the surface to depths in excess of 600m.

The two Ditau conductors are open at both ends and extend north-south for at least 4km and represent very compelling geophysical anomalies which are both coincident with strong zinc in soil anomalies.

The Ditau magnetic body is associated with a significant gravity anomaly and probably represents a mafic intrusive at depth. These conductors represent prime priority drill targets for the first part of next year.

The remarkable coincidence of significant (probably mineralised) EM conductors at depth with zinc in soils anomalies on surface represents compelling evidence that Kavango’s soil sampling technique is able to detect mineralisation above considerable depths of cover.

The Company believes that a combination of AEM surveying, zinc in soils geochemistry and AMT ground based resistivity surveying will continue to identify multiple high quality drill targets over the coming months.

No kidding. I've been talking to myself for the most part!Three buys today and the price moved up twice. We could be in for some steep moves if the drilling is good. Nice to see the management with over 30% of the shares.

Michael Foster, Chief Executive Officer of Kavango Resources, commented:

"We are pleased to be able to announce the start of drilling at the first of several exciting coincident geophysical and geochemical base metal anomalies that have been identified at the Ditau Prospect, which forms part of the KSZ Project.

The drilling is scheduled to commence shortly and results will be announced as they become available.

With the success of our exploration techniques, we expect many more anomalous areas to be identified following completion of Phase 2 of the airborne electro-magnetic (AEM) survey (see announcement of 21 January 2019). These will be followed up on the ground and prioritized for drilling".

Kavango Resources initiates second phase of airborne survey over Kalahari Suture Zone
Kavango is targeting copper, as well as nickel and platinum group elements

Kavango Resources PLC (LON:KAV) has initiated phase two of the airborne electromagnetic survey over the Kalahari Suture Zone in Botswana.

It’s anticipated that flying will start later this month.

Kavango has contracted the services of SkyTEM, a leading airborne geophysical survey company, to cover up to 2,062 line-kilometres in the Hukuntsi area of Botswana.

"We are pleased to be able to announce the start of Phase 2 of the AEM survey,” said Michael Foster, Kavango’s chief executive.

“SkyTEM's new High Power system will allow us to investigate the potential for copper-nickel-platinum group elements rich sulphide orebodies at much deeper levels and with greater resolution than older systems. The greater depth penetration of the new SkyTEM312 HP (High Power) system should give Kavango much better discrimination in the prioritization of target conductors.”

Moves up on one buy yesterday.
Moves down on one sell today.

So when we get some further excellent news on the surveys or commencement of drilling etc and the herd arrive it'll be interesting to see how the share price reacts.

I'm looking forward to either more results from the airborne survey or details of upcoming drilling. It has the potential to be a great year here.
