18/7/2019 13:27 | Paul Johnson, 6 mins ago, Thur 18 July 2019 "I may be wrong. However, there is a air of major discovery potential around KAV @KavangoResources - combined by a farm in deal on Ditau. News today for me has consolidated my thoughts on this. Hold + 3% [Smiley Face Emoji]. | jlondon
18/7/2019 12:20 | Given what we know so far; -First two holes at Ditau hit mineralisation -Intensely altered Rocks down to 500m -XRF readings indicate base metals presence including Copper, Cobalt and REE's -After completion of drilling, the company has kept very quiet while simultaneously applying for (and being awarded) the area southwest of Ditau, a license covering 916km2. -They are talking about farming out 'due to its size' after just two holes to do it justice. I have seen this a number of times in both Mining and oil&gas industry and its usually the routine of a metals/minerals/oil& Cash | cashandcard

18/7/2019 11:35 | Mining Maven article on KAV just out on today*s RNS, Thur 18 July 2019 Quote: "He added that Kavango*s preferred option would be to farm-out Ditau camp due to its SIZE and the firm*s ongoing focus on the Kalahari Suture Zone [KSZ] structure in South Boswana." "Drilling is expected to begin at the 4 5 0 km-long magnetic ANOMALY, on which the majority of Kavango* 15 prospecting licences sit, l a t e r this year." | jlondon
18/7/2019 11:18 | "Kavango is currently undertaking its own program of checks and duplicates" I read that as checking/duplicates of a subset of the samples not the entire sample set. I get the impression that these results won't take months or weeks. Does any one have the experience of similar checking? | mpls
18/7/2019 11:14 | I'd like to know if those 12 duplicates were contiguous indicating a zone of high grade mineralisation. | mpls

18/7/2019 11:04 | Ah OK GD. Interesting stuff. | bungeetrader
18/7/2019 11:03 | From the canadamines doc: Blanks::This will determine if potential contamination at the lab setting is taking place Duplicates:: A rule of thumb is that all samples above a certain grade are automatically re-sampled for verification. Under regulations some core must remain and be stored for future verification if need be. Standards::Standards or samples purchased from labs, which have a known grade of mineral to be tested for. Insertion of blanks, duplicates (of both types) and standards occur at regular intervals in sampling. For example every 10th sample is a blank, every 25th sample is a standard, every 50th sample is a core duplicate. These QA/QC samples are inserted and sent to the lab as if they were actual rock samples – the lab does not know they are blanks/standards or duplicates. In addition labs typically do internal duplicate checks (every 10th sample) and automatically retest all assays above a specific grade. It is common practice that all samples above a certain grade be verified by another independent lab. From the RNS: A total of 489 core samples were prepared by Intertek Laboratories in Johannesburg Assayed for 65 elements by Genalysis Laboratories in Australia Genalysis carried out 12 duplicate check assays, ran 14 control standards and 14 blanks during the assay run. | mpls

18/7/2019 10:16 | Pete Panda & Luctenhav [European - Dutch holders of KAV] are having a very interesting conversation with Paul Johnson, the % holder of KAV on the KAV RNS this morning, Thur 18 July 2019 [Ditau]. Link: Mr Johnson has just tweeted and provided a link with the comment: "Might be useful for KAV holders to read the article attached, interesting quote It is common practice that all samples above a certain grade be verified by another independent lab." | jlondon
18/7/2019 10:14 | Of course the other aspect to this is a highly refined and double checked set of assays will allow them to better understand the correlation with the airborne and surface geophysical data. This will help in choosing drill locations on the KSZ.. | jone06
18/7/2019 10:12 | Slong, agree with your comments I have opened up a small position this morning as this looks very interesting. Assuming the share price drop is due to some PIs being frustrated with the time it's taking to confirm the Assay results. GLA | simplemilltownboy
18/7/2019 08:38 | Interesting and a tad frustrating, this would seem to confirm that there is something of interest at Ditau, and it is certain that they are already talking to someone regarding the farm in, hence no data released from the assays. From my understanding I think they were always planning to do follow up assays to get more understanding on the geology of the two drills, however I did expect some headline results to be released. | slong
18/7/2019 08:31 | Looks positive to me. Double checking the assay results - especially if you a taking these to third parties is important. They would not be in a position to farmout this early if the results did not warrant it.Cash | cashandcard

18/7/2019 08:08 | ARCM were getting their assay analysis completed within 2 week from SA laboratories. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
18/7/2019 08:07 | They wont release assays until the farm-in is concluded, regardless of how soon they receive verified results back from the SA lab. | thelung
