RE: RNS out

I'm no TPI fan. However, on the flip side, KAV have now used up their 20% share issuance authority for the current year (remember, they're on the Standard List not AIM so it's different rules) - which means no more placings this year unless they issue a prospectus (updated CPR, financials, regulator approval etc etc - no small task). So there's a clear runway now, and with those warrants being at 12p they're not going to cause any issues until we're getting towards the 20p mark.

KAV were always going to raise more money for the next stage in the exploration ... what I really didn't want was them placing into share price strength caused by some good drilling results, and thus nerfing any momentum just as it gets going. That can't happen now (see comments above), which is good from a trading perspective.

I like KAV because of the scale of their land package ... they're going for a big win, not piddling about at the edges of something sub-scale. Their licence package for the KSW is about the size of Wales (albeit the strip of interest is a line that runs down the middle).

There's no proof until the drill bit hits, but if they are successful then the upside is massive. [And of course like any junior, they could just hit barren sand - although all the VTEM with Budgie the Chopper is designed to minimise that risk].

re: New joint broker

KAV Have used up their 20% share issuance allowance for 2019 (Main market listed not AIM) so no placing coming. Under the London Stock Exchange full standard listing KAV cannot do another placing for 12 months since the last financing so next April 2020 at the earliest unless a full new prospectus is issued which is of course expensive. The warrants from the recent placing cannot be exercised until 2020 but the 60m warrants issued at IPO can be exercised at anytime assuming the share price is above 14.4p for 10 consecutive days. 60m @ 12p is £7.2M.
Apart from the warrants there are many other options open to KAV for financing moving forwards including JVs with mid tier or major mining companies via a farm in. Mike Moles said recently that they would definitely look at this on Ditau as they have a big work program ahead on the main Kalahari Suture Zone and given the scale of Ditau this makes sense.

Generally testing takes longer the more of interest there is. If theres nothing there is a simple case of test, check, give up. If you get lots of interesting spikes on your mass spec theres a lot more follow up, which takes proportionally much longer. I would also assume they are looking to correlate data with aerial geophys, and that's not going to be quick either. I have no issue with the delay.

Notes to self.

So MM was a little optimistic on time scales back in mid May and the general consensus is that they'll be know around mid July, not sure if that includes Geo sign off, wording of RNS and nomad sign-off but lets say 3 and a bit weeks to 22nd July.

Testing taking longer than anticipated because of the number of metals(52) and rare earth(12) materials is so large? Not just testing for copper and gold etc.

Or lol, is it because they have to be careful with the Uranium?

MOD are being bought out for around £74.0m.They have 11,700km2 of acreage. I The main project, T3, which has a bfs and financing in place is 60Mt at 0.98% Cu and 14g/t Ag. I think this is extended by a further 34.4Mt at similar grades. They also have T1 project of 2.7Mt at 2.0% Cu and 50g/t Ag. We are quite a few holes away from all of this but it is a useful marker for open cast copper value in Botswana.

Coincidentally was researching MOD at the weekend. Thought they may have dipped before the offer came in. I thought they would go for more, might still if a counter offer comes in. Good for KAV as it shows a) political stability b) financial stability c) geological proof d) etc etc. All de-risks KAV.

MOD made big gains
a) March 2016 when they announced Significant Copper in First Drilling at New JV Target, T3
b) Aug 2016 when further copper was found at T3 and first assay results for T2 came out
c) Feb/March 2017 when a copper zone below T3 was announced

KAV could be about to replicate the exploration success of MOD, similarities came be drawn; multiple sites, zones at low/medium depth and a copper one at depth.

Difference is KAV resource *could* be much greater than MODs. See London's post above.

Just for fun, and no advice implied, share price pre-a) 0.04AUD a) 0.33AUD b) 0.53AUD c) 0.80AUD (Don't know equivalent market cap or the dilution in the interim)

Price of KAV is now circa 0.04GPB

"WA co*s leading the charge in Kalahari Copper Belt."- The West Australian, Tues, 25 June 2019

"Starting to attract substantial global interest in the ASX co*s. Just how many ELEPHANTS are lurking out there remains to be seen."

The article is also about MOD Resources being taken over by Sandfire. They mention also the discoveries in the Kalahari Copper Belt, BOSWANA. Also, that if one wants to look for an elephant, one goes to elephant country? Elephant as in geo phraseology.

From the article I recall they said that MOD*s copper is 1% and another ASX co 2%. Please check as I had to rush through the article.

All about BOSWANA COPPER.

Copied from CEO.caThanks to Luc Ten Have for the feedback from the AGM@LucTenHave Hi @Snoek Sure:- In presentation Mike Moles explained about the Ditau project but I think most of it you already heard in the interviews or in press releases- New licences requested at Ditau- Looking forward to the assays. They are assaying for 53 metals and 12 rare earth's- Company is not going to promote by spending money for flights, conferences, and hotel rooms in Australia and North America but rather focus on technical work- Drilling KSZ in 3rd quarter (I think this will be funded by Kavango themselves)- I personally got a good impression of the team. Mike Moles is the one who founded it with Hilary Gombo and they funded it with family and friends since 2011- KSZ should still remain the company's flagship/focus but with the Ditau visuals they basically have 2 key projects- I got the impression they are not planning a financing soon

On London South East MOD Resources, forest4032 posted today that Sandfire beat a handful of rivals [understood] to secure MOD, believed to include Greenstone, Applian and a few North American copper players. A link is provided.

Kindly go to the above site if interested to read and check.

BOSWANA IS IN THE M & A LIMELIGHT:
This morning Sandfire made a bid for MOD Resources [Copper in Boswana] at some £73m.
Sandfire had made its first move a few short months ago but it was rejected.

Metal Tiger is also up today by extension, also in Boswana [copper].

Looks like sandfire are bidding 155m aud for mod , another Botswana exploration co , given Kav could well have much better assets its not going to take a lot from these assays to put this a lot higher !

"Is this the week for assays following xrf for Kavango Resources - DRAMATIC XRF for RARE EARTHS & Cobalt, will assays follow discovery?."

My comment:
From my understanding, once assays results are obtained, co*s usually meet with the technical team. Then, it goes through the processes. I understand they need to be signed off as well by the geo etc. DYOR. Just for discussion.

So, the assays are expected.

Copied from lseToday 08:47 Price: 3.70luctenhave 41 postsRE: Patience...It will probably still take 2 - 3 weeks before assays get released. In the interviews with Proactive they were not completely clear about the timing. They had to prep the core for shipping to South Africa, process in South Africa, customs clearance, flights, deliver to lab, lab time (couple of weeks), internal review, write RNS. So I don't think we will see assays before mid July.

17 May '19 - 18:27 - 420 of
Also I queried the company on 20 days and it is 20 business days so likely later June and if any slippage even early July.

24 May 2019, 20:56
[@LucTenHave] Drill results probably July, not June. Poorly communicated.

24 May 2019, 21:02
[@LucTenHave] No delay but poorly communicated. Had a talk with the company today. They believe the market was well informed..I disagree.

24 May 2019, 21:32
[@LucTenHave] I understand that it takes longer (processing, road transport, airline, customs, lab, etc) but they should not say 20 days in an interview when it is rather 40 - 50 days. Now they say "business days". But after the first hole they also said in the interview "one month". Over promising and under delivering is not good. Not a red flag I think but just not smart.
