Assays shortly, I am of the opinion they will be with us next week, wouldn't surprise me if they had the info back already and are working through all of the results to formulate the next stage of the master plan.

Nice to know KAV getting new licence at Ditau, shows they have confidence in the existing area. I assume they'll give a general project update with the Assay results due shortly along with update on 3-D model and project potential.

Feedback from the KAV AGMThe KAV AGM went well yesterday with a presentation foillowing the business end of things by Michael Foster and Mike Moles.New information included the following: Assays shortly, new licence[s] at Ditau & drilling to commence on the northern part of the KSZ during the 3rd QTR 2019.Some excellent questions especially from Luc Ten Hav.

Yes - and there doesn't seem to be much of a "buzz" around the share price, given we are due potentially transformational assay results any day now...

Kavango Resources:Share price 4.1p, MKT CAP £6.6 Million, Shares in Issue 160.96m

<>Ditau Anomaly 5km x 7km !!! [For size, eg ARS Beutong is 3km x 1.5km per 25.3.19 RNS]

<>Hole 1 & 2 distance apart 1.8km!!! [Oak Dam, BHP distance 400m]

<>Mike Moles latest video interview - Mineralised before reaching gabbro as well as gabbro.

<>Hole 2 depth reached 557.34m showing 320 METRES of INTENSELY altered rock like Hole 1. The hole continued another 78.79m INTO THE GABBROIC INTRUSIVE . The mineralisation include CHALCOPRITE [copper sulphide 1.5% XRF reading.] Ref: RNS 16.5.19]

Chalcoprite online states it is the principal ore of copper.
Pic dated 22 May 2019 from KAV: "Chalcoprite mineralisation near the BOTTOM of Hole 2.

------------------------------------------
So, the mineralisation is 320m + 78.79m = 398.79 metres of mineralisation?
Further depth not tested yet.
-----------------------------------------

Observation:
The KALAHARI COPPER belt in Boswana is the area where MOD Resources are situated.
In addition, Metal Tiger is also in the area.

Mod Resources share price is 16.5p, MKT CAP £50.12 Million. Sandfire made a bid for Mod at 38c per share per 21.1.19 RNS.

I looked at some of the drill results of Mod Resources:
RNS 12.3.19: Strong T3 infilling drilling results

31.5m at 2% Cu copper [not listing silver]
13.7 1.6% Cu
17.7m 1.4% Cu
22m 1.1cu
and so forth including

1.7m at 0.9%Cu
6m 0.7% cu
5.4m 0,6%

includes also 16m at 3.3% copper
and 10m at 4.7% copper.
se
On 25 Mar 2019, Mod reported 61% increase in T3 open pit ore reserves to 34mt at 0.67% cu.

So, one can see that the depth of Ditau, Kavango Resources are those in the category like ARS*s Beautong which reported 456m at 1.06% copper EQUIVALENT or 0.93% copper. Beauton West reported 596.6m at 0.53% copper [18 Oct 2018 RNS]
It is commonly known that PORPHYRY deposits have lower grades but depend on size [tonnage]. Liberum did a note on Beutong and said it could have potential like Solg from recall. So, these types of INTERSECTIONS of several HUNDRED metres do attraction attention. Kavango Resource*s Ditau is not porphyry and may indicate more BOSWANIAN grades as an illustration?

ARS share price is 6.05p and mkt cap £56.12m

We await DEFINITIVE ASSAY RESULTS from KAV*s Ditau Hole 1 & 2.

DYOR.

Just a general discussion and NO inference is made except to talk about deposits in general.

If there is any error, please correct.

P.S

Metal Tiger plc [LON:MTR] also in Boswana [Kalahari belt] has a share price of 1.2p with a MKT CAP of £18.69m.

Sprotts is a holder of MTR shares.

So, Mod Resources, Metal Tiger and Kavango Resources are the only co*s I am aware of in Boswana espcially the Kalahari Copper Belt or Kalahari Belt.

As said, Mod has a mkt cap of £50m.

From recall, Solgold had a mkt cap of £8m when they first started out at Cascabel, Ecuador waiting for the environmental permit which took quite a time.

Kavango Resources mkt cap is £6m at 4.1p with Hole 1 & 2 details given plus 2 pics via Twitter.

MOD Resources is at the Western & Central Kalahari Belt, Boswana [outside preamble] at hxxps://www.modresources.com.au/
and specifically hxxps://www.modresources.com.au/boswana-copper-project
[It shows the main T3 project at 60Mt @ 0.98% Cu & 14g/t Ag.
If you have a look at the map as per the link, its quite a complex.

MOD Resources is both ASX and AIM listed.

I have thrown out my notes but I recall I posted the info on this forum not so long ago comparing their mkt caps of Metal Tiger & MOD Resources, both with project in Boswana.

jlondon, am I reading it wrong or does Kalahari Metals find look tiny to Kavango's potential

KML: "the prospective intersections including 5.1 m at 0.69% copper, and 1.8 m at 1.8% copper and 8.2 g/t gold.... potential of the Kalahari copperbelt to develop into a world-class economic copper district"

KAV: "320m zone of intensely altered rock, similar to that encountered in DitDDH1 ... The hole was continued for a further 78.79m ... copper sulphide 1.5% XRF reading"

Tweet:
"MTR Sprott hold 13.25% of Metal Tiger plc while Rick Rule hold a personal stake of 3.85%. Why? Well, he did say that the KALAHARI COPPER BELT IN BOSWANA was shaping up to be a SIGNIFICANT COPPER CAMP. Drills turning at KML & MOD may show the BELT holds more T3s."

Embedded is a tweet by Proven & Probable with a video interview with Rick Rule.

Above relates to Boswana and copper. Just posting about Boswana and the potential for copper.

This stock is under the radar. From past experience of other stocks, people now no longer post on the other forum. So, no one knows much about the stock.

However, interesting that prior to results, the MM want to buy ABOVE normal mkt size even though there is currently NO demand from the open info?

From other stocks, they usually say that it is the norm ie precursor to news?
Appears the MM*s want to buy?

Check it out for yourselves if interested as everyone could be having different brokers.

It doesnt look as if we are going to get news before tomorrow's AGM. The share price is certainly not behaving as if "transformational" news is due imminently!
Anyone going to the AGM?

Awaited results - Unless all the indications so far eg from XRF etc are ALL incorrect or rather incorrectly done, then the results could fall within this range.

Since this does not appear to be a porphyry which tends to be rather of lower grade ie copper, then the Boswana historical so far tends to be rather better known.

That*s only my observation.

However, we await assay results to match against all the other co*s operating in Boswana and their results, to add to the data base for that country.

This is going to be out very soon and a huge disappointment or very exciting.... the rare earth side to things is getting interesting from a political perspective, given the sensitivity around the toxic nature of some of the tailings I think having an underground mine where you can put back the tailings may be the only way forward outside of China, the Australian route of dealing with the waste in someone else's backyard is not going to fly anymore, dumping tails on the surface in Malaysia is going to get shut down as soon as it becomes a focus, putting the waste where it came from underground is going to be a logical solution, so a shallow mine far from people in a politically stable jurisdiction is going to be the preferred location for a rare earth mine...

Also points to results any day now

From video links above and subsequent clarification it takes 20 working days (1 month) to get Assay results. Latest drilling results at Ditau released 16 May 2019.

From Chief Executive Officer's Report in the last set of results dated 30 April 2019:

"The core from both holes has been cut and sampled in Botswana and has now been sent for assay and analysis at a laboratory in Australia"

So they were sent one and half months ago and it takes a month to get results. So, with 2 weeks for "South Africa preparation" and transport to Australia, analysis to be completed any day now?

From ceo.ca@LucTenHave At AGM $KAV.L will seek approval to issue more shares - which is requried for an LSE listed company as they cannot do any PP's at the moment. "Resolution 5: Authority to allot Ordinary SharesAn ordinary resolution, pursuant to section 551 of the Act, to generally and unconditionally authorise the Directors of the Company, in addition to any such authority previously granted and which has not expired, to issue and allot, or grant rights to subscribe for or convert any securities into, up to such number of Ordinary Shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company as is equal to one half of the number of Ordinary Shares in issue at 6.00 p.m. BST on 19 June 2019 ""------------------Under the London Stock Exchange full standard listing KAV cannot do another placing for 12 months since the last financing so next April 2020 at the earliest unless a full new prospectus is issued which is of course expensive. If assays are good then there is the potential for 60M warrants to be exercised at 12p from the IPO and then another nearly 30M from the recent placing (though these not exercisable until next year).Apart from the warrants there are many other options open to KAV for financing moving forwards including JVs with mid tier or major mining companies via a farm in. Mike Moles said recently that they would definitely look at this on Ditau as they have a big work program ahead on the main Kalahari Suture Zone and given the scale of Ditau this makes sense.
