Volume is very small. Bigger players don't selling at the moment - only a several people (look on volume). Sandersonam feeling bargain and they don't want rather to earn small change. Katoro today is worthy only 6 milion with great assets and probably world class deposit - yet not unlock.

Why to sell shares now before start gold production on Blyvoor?

They might not sell. They did the same at Kibo, the related company and still hold over 13% of the float. This could just be warrants. Let's wait for an RNS shall we.

Sanderson has elected to immediately convert an initial GBP100,000 of the GBP400,000 drawn under the Sanderson CLN at the conversion price of 1.5 pence, and as a result the Company will issue Sanderson with 6,666,667 new Ordinary Shares ('Conversion Shares'). The remaining balance outstanding pursuant to the Sanderson CLN after the foregoing amounts will be GBP300,000 (the 'Remaining Balance').For illustrative purposes only, if Sanderson sought conversion of the Remaining Balance of the Sanderson CLN in full on 17 February 2021, being the last practicable date to convert, and elected to receive such number of Ordinary Shares based on the outstanding principal plus accrued interest (approximately GBP359,178) divided by 1.5 pence, then the Company would issue 23,945,205 new Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 12.54% of the Company's issued share capital of 191,022,129 shares after taking into account the Conversion Shares.

You right. Sanderson want to sell shares for a few small investors on stock market... genius :)

"We aim to identify high-quality companies where there is a significant discount between the price we are paying and our estimation of the intrinsic value of the business and believe that a genuine long-term time horizon is key to the process".

I wonder if GB is putting some money in. They must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse to get him out of retirement and he must of had a massive pension pot and bonuses. Just a thought....

Funding from the Jan RNS :Our initial objective is to rapidly secure the project level funding required to construct and commission the plant to reprocess the Tailings in order to start generating revenues. I must emphasise that this is financing at the project level and does not represent dilution at the Katoro Gold plc level.

Yeah Kai, that was what I was getting at. Even at heavy dilution, this is hugely undervalued as we stand now, if it goes ahead.. and it will imo. We ain't got no worries at under 3p lol.

gasman, I posted the following on LSE yesterday prior to the RNS this morning.

First year:
8750 oz to KAT
AISC = $800/oz
Profit margin with Au at $1600 = $800/oz
Profit = 8750*800 = $7,000,000
USD/GBP @1.3 = £5,384,615
£5,384,615 / 184,355,462
SP = 29.2p

--------------------

bcl, yes, dilution is a risk; been stung by that one multiple times over in TOM.
So let's take an extremely dilutive assumption: 150%
Current shares in issue: 184,355,462
After 150% dilution: 460,888,655
Pre dilution: £5,384,615 / 184,355,462 = 29.2p
Post dilution: £5,384,615 / 460,888,655 = 11.6p

Heck, you could go to 300% dilution and still get a bag and change from today's price
5,384,615 / 737,421,848 = 7.3p

Cash, agreed, if it was GB at the helm of KAT, confidence would be even higher. But as it stands, the only way we get exposure to the JV is through KAT (or go back in time and become a client of SI or Sanderson).

LC might opt for dilution, yes. But at this point, I doubt it will be necessary - at least for the initial funding requirement of $11m
