Added south license to Lahtojoki which this release from the GTK The GTK report also states that the compositional data of picroilmenite grains from the boulder are “outstanding” and “an important indicator for good potential diamond survival”. outstanding !!again like ODM ,GTK IS WORLD CLASS COMPANY do not make wild claims! The GTK report also highlights that chromites, which are relatively rare in the Lahtojoki kimberlite diamond deposit, appear to be more common in the boulder and is therefore further confirmation that the boulder does not derive from the Lahtojoki deposit. The report further noted that garnets, with high chromium oxide “wehrlite̶1; compositions, which are not seen in the Lahtojoki kimberlite, are present. We could have Lahtojoki three time the original size then the current permit we are waiting for . Having profited from a small sale of Anglo American this morning, I decided to plunge back into KDR with a 54909 purchase just to top me up. Don't like holding too many shares in 1 basket but i'm hoping my great niece will benefit from this company finding a big fat pink diamond in 2075. Even the Prof's daughter will be too old to manage this company by the time they mine their 1st diamond! I'll leave my shares to my great niece. Should be fun for her to go 20 years of hoping all to no avail whilst watching placing after placing occur dwindling away the ownership of the company she once enjoyed. Read Full Thread Reply

Posted at 12/10/2023 07:09 by hooops Mineral indicator analyses of stream sediment samples indicate prospectivity for nickel, copper and platinum mineralisation Results of microprobe analysis show high zinc oxide values Chromites with Fe-Ni-S inclusions observed Highly anomalous area outlined Karelian Diamond Resources PLC (AIM: KDR) is pleased to announce that indicator mineral and microprobe analysis results from a stream sampling programme in Northern Ireland confirms the prospectivity of the Company's licence area for nickel, copper and platinum group metals. The sampling programme was a follow up to an earlier sampling programme which suggested the potential of the area for these metals (the results of which were announced by the Company on 10 November 2021). Thirty three stream sediment samples, with an average weight of circa 18kg per sample, were collected across the three licences, totalling an area of approximately 750km2, now held by the Company in Northern Ireland. The samples were despatched to Overburden Drilling Management Limited ("ODM") in Canada for mineral concentration, picking and analysis for indicator mineralogy using ODM's trade-marked metamorphic/magmatic massive sulphide indicator minerals (MMSIM'S) technique. ODM has been a key contributor to numerous discoveries worldwide, including the Voisey's Bay nickel-copper-cobalt deposit in Labrador, Canada. The results of this programme, taken in conjunction with results from the previous programme, indicate a highly anomalous river catchment area. This area has yielded five samples each having over 1,000 indicator minerals. The indicator minerals are primarily Chromite and Forsterite with some Chalcopyrite and gold grains. In addition, microprobe analysis on a number of Chromite grains from samples taken from this area during the original sampling programme in 2021 showed that four samples had Chromites with high zinc oxide values. Such high zinc oxide values can be a signature of sulphide rich Nickel-Copper Group Elements deposits. It was also noted that a number of the Chromites have inclusions of iron, nickel, sulphur as well as on the Chromite margins, which is significant as it indicates the presence of nickel mineralisation. The Company is planning a follow up programme focused on the highly anomalous river catchment area, together with some additional microprobe analysis, with a view to identifying one or more drilling targets. Further results will be issued by the Company as the exploration programme proceeds. This release has been approved by Kevin McNulty PGeo, who is a member of the Company's technical staff and holds a BSc/MSc in Geology and Remote Sensing, in accordance with the guidance note for Mining, Oil and Gas Companies issued by the London Stock Exchange in respect of AIM Companies, which outlines standards of disclosure for mineral projects. Posted at 04/7/2023 18:00 by rbonnier Well I've thought for a long time KDR don't want the share price to go up and want to keep it as low as possible that is becoming blatantly obvious now.An all paper offer from CGNR is around the corner probably 3KDR shares for 1 CGNR share judging by the share price of both companies.When that's done and dusted the news will start rolling in on both Fronts and RIO will then come in with a big cash offer for CGNR and that's it Prof 90 CGNR and KDR all gone everyone happy and Prof to enjoy his retirement with a boat load of cash ! Is that 7.5 mil in total ? Imagine recovering diamonds in Kuhmo and Nickle in NI ?100% KDR The work, in both cases, will give us additional information and in relation to Finland could include the discovery of diamonds in one or more of the kimberlite targets. I also look forward very much to work being initiated at Lahtojoki, particularly in relation to the highly sought after and valued pink diamonds.” Prof said to SELL CGNR would want offers of 7.50 plus ,KDR would be worth far greater if the next world class diamond province with fancy and pinks the same as Russia or even bigger ,Add Lahtojoki and perhaps JV ?AGAIN 100% KDR After all gold everywhere in the world but NOT diamonds and certainly not with fancy and Pinks ?
