Everything points towards Rio Tinto. If Kuhmo1 starts looking good along with Riihivaara and Rio Tinto don't move quick enough or drag their feet, Alrosa could still get the jump on Rio Tinto, why not?Alrosa will be watching closely.

I find it strange folk selling now. Can’t prove anything up without drills in the Kimberlite. To drill all the geologists work must provern above ground.

“Arctic Star could not afford KDR” many homeowners in London and the South East could sell up and buy KDR!

Little point in 'debate' at the moment until the next set of results are announced.

Looking back the Prof has invested over £700k in placings out his own pocket. Doesn’t cement the lifestyle angle. My research shows all Kimberlites discovered in Kuhmo prior did not contain the high quality KIMS and the companies exploring at the time openly said these Kimberlites were not the Kimberlites they were hoping to discover as that the KIMS train indicated there were higher quality Kimberlites in the area. KDR picked up this KIMS train and found new even better kims in abundance that pointed to now even higher quality undiscovered Kimberlites than previous exploration companies had envisaged in the Kuhmo region. Check out the excitement on 1 grain of eclogite in 2011 check out the eclogite in RTZ report of Riihivaara Kimberlite. Add to that the Low oxidation rocks. These are even better Kimberlites than the original geologists imagined. All the KIMS were not from the Riihivaara body so there’s more in the area. This points to a huge asset build in kuhmo and licences take a long time to be acquired if you research. Also prior to the discovery of these kims discovered in Kuhmo by KDR the company were actively involved In Kuusamo, as soon as these new Kims in Kuhmo were discovered Kuusamo was no longer mentioned and all focus was on Kuhmo. All points to a kuhmo asset build that looks to be complete and will now be drilled to prove up. Riihivaara Kimberlite has been exposed for years and RTZ were covering sampling costs. It is arguable that RTZ would have continued sampling as the extensions were uncovered under the confidentiality agreement and as the recent RNS stated follow up drilling at Riihivaara May now be the green light share holders have been waiting for to announce a JV. I certainly am excited when other Kimberlites in the area are borderline economic and now Riihivaara is to be drilled. I expect a deal on all assets apart from lahtojoki which with funds raised will bring the Prof the first genuine European diamond mine subject to Environmental Impact Study. Don’t forget circa £6 million spent on lahtojoki prior to KDR gaining control.

Unfortunately, that may be the case, but this is a lifestyle co., so no incentive whatsoever to follow that path.

In fact, completely the reverse, keep us in the dark, and keep the money rolling in for the bod.

If we were up 500% we still wouldn't be at 1p pre consolidation! Let's see if Arctic Star prove up a find, or release a JORC before KDR do. For all that we have in our portfolio, there isn't anything that can give the Company a true market valuation. Therein lies the problem. Until then, everything is pure speculation, as it has been since day one. Our Board need to provide us, and the Market, with an indication of what worth there is in the ground and how we are going to go about converting that into shareholder value going forward. If the drill programme takes up most of the recent placing funds, where will that leave us in five or six months time if the current situation still prevails? If more funding is required and we are sat at the current share price, at what price will that funding take place? Lower price, more shares allocated, more dilution, until we are back to a scenario where it makes a mockery of having the consolidation in the first place!

How do you know the end result could be life changing better or worse!
If you sold at a loss you already know which way.Keep buying at low prices you could finish up rather well.
Everything is a risk if you were up 500% would you be so angry! !!!!

As a small company you are exposed to Risk when you shout out and tell the world.Protect at all costs and with a world class mining giant by our side would you need to broadcast it???

No matter what people say if they knew where the diamonds were specifically as in a find they would have been there much sooner so all the speculation about a master plan has been proven to be a load of hot air!Why would you explore different sites like this lot have without finishing one off to a find in order to fund the others whilst diluting everyone to bits!

Considering Artic star Been in finland for almost a year and exposed 800 gems in such a short time ask yourself this question.
Kdr already has information from RTZ and now comand a healthy 80sq kil area.
KDR has a very different agenda when it comes Released information Garnets for example.
Lahtojoki Production licence.
Study each KDR release Dull and boring I grant you.
Are they telling you the same thing put from a different angle? ??
Read them a couple times and digest the information.
You can't get diamonds without Garnets!

With the current state of play and progress here made over 15years I would expect a fair few shareholders in the 0.5 - 1p range would be happy with 15p as a lucky escape from what appears to date a bad investment and financial disaster.

Arctic Star should consider a hostile takeover at 15p ish .They get all kdrs licences and all the green diamonds if there are any everyones happy and kdr shareholders get out of this mess with a lot more than the current 4p bid thats about as likely to go up as winning Euro Millions !

KS, looks like they are happy with the shallower ground and the follow up drilling is very targeted for a reason. KS see pm

Well said GE, 👏👏👏👏 8079;good to see someone understanding it all and making sense of it.

No more searching at R,no more sampling, straight in for the follow up drilling, as simple as that.
And what happens after that ?

Price may well be shocking, but that’s what a lengthy news hiatus doe as AIM is purely news driven.

Don’t forget who did all the sampling at Riihivaara.

17 and counting.

Riihivaara Follow up drilling....not drilling will commence like Kuhmo1Drilling in Riihivaara designed to intercept kimberlite at a deeper level. Drilling will provide additional kimberlite for micro diamond test work. No indication where this analysis will take place as opposed to the independent lab in Canada for Lahtojoki micro Diamond analysis. Ask yourself why would KDR be doing this at Riihivaara if there was nothing there. Looking Very Interesting Now.
