28/1/2018 13:27 | Karelian Diamond Resources has received a large database of information relating to the diamondiferous Lahtojoki kimberlite pipe from A&G Mining Oy. The comprehensive database of information has enabled Karelian to expedite its overall assessment of the project and plan an effective development programme going forward. The assessment of previous drilling and bulk sample information provided, together with other technical information, including consultant reports, indicate that the Lahtojoki diamondiferous pipe has the potential to become a profitable open pit diamond mine. The Lahtojoki diamond mine project benefits significantly by being well located with water and grid power available. Recent advances in ore processing are also relevant as they are expected to reduce process capital and operating costs. A phased approach is planned, which will include re-modelling the diamondiferous pipe using the latest understanding of kimberlite processes. This work, together with a re-assessment of the microdiamond data available, will allow the Company to target locations for any further drilling that may be required and for bulk sampling. This next stage is expected to take up to 12 months. Chairman Professor Richard Conroy said: " I am delighted that excellent progress is being made in relation to the technical data which has been received. The acquisition of the Lahtojoki diamond pipe Mining Permit, together with these encouraging results relating to its potential, complement our existing licences and are a major step forward for our diamond programme in Finland." Note:A phased approach is planned, which will include re-modelling the diamondiferous pipe using the latest understanding of kimberlite processes. This work, together with a re-assessment of the microdiamond data available, will allow the Company to target locations for any further drilling that may be required and for bulk sampling. This next stage is expected to take up to 12 months. Answers on a postcode as 12 months well and truly passed | shambaby

27/1/2018 16:25 | Website down again? | diamond hunter
24/1/2018 22:06 | Thanks, KS. As I think is generally common ground, at any rate KDR's fate should become clear in the fairly short term. | ladybird1
24/1/2018 22:04 | Just a question to put out there, but I am sure I'm not the only one out there that bought when the share price was a lot higher and with the 25 to 1 consolidation my average price is not very good. I have averaged down a little bit but even if we were to get to a pound I still wouldn't have made very much for all the year I have been here. If everything does go to plan ( green diamond etc) does anyone have an idea of what the price could reach cheers everyone | peterdiamond
24/1/2018 21:58 | With shambaby admitting he was completely wrong to stand up for CON roy and has now lost CON fidence in them how long will it be before all the other long termers take the same view . I would urge all shareholders to act before its too late and take action here what exactly is CON roys agenda here as I see no shareholder value whatsoever and the company doesn't appear to be working in the interests of all shareholders otherwise the share price wouldn't be in free fall at an all time low. | rbonnier
24/1/2018 21:54 | Well ladybird, I suppose we’ll only find out fully when the accounts for the corresponding period are reported and we see exactly what’s been spent on exploration costs etc. So far this year, they’ve not let us down in terms of the start of a major work programme and long may it continue, going boldly where they’ve never gone before. Good luck with your cheery punt, a wise investment may indeed blossom from it. | keysersosse
24/1/2018 21:47 | Indeed, KS. But the posts do indicate unbanishable DOUBT in the bull posters' minds. An increasingly frenzied need for mutual reassurance which does suggest that, taken together, the strands teased out do not banish the doubts and there is need for mutual reassurance. I also indeed hope the company blossoms and I make a turn on my 'investment' or 'cheery punt', however it might be described - the latter remaining perhaps the apter description. Interesting perhaps that those taking a punt (in fact a couple were reasonably large) as the price collapsed sold off quite quickly, unlike the steady rise sustained over several days at CGNR before people took profits. | ladybird1
24/1/2018 21:29 | Ladybird - you yourself said the accounts struck a positive note advising there will be a major work programme in 2018. It’s got off to a decent start wouldn’t you say ? Excavation most definitely ongoing at Kuhmo due to the depths they’re at ? Never had those depths mentioned before have we ? So....who is paying for the programme ? KDR aren’t cash rich by any stretch of the imagination. Someone has to be doing stuff behind the scenes here, it’s blatanly obvious. | keysersosse |
