All good points, but the bottom line is finance. KDR have released positive news across the board, yet not one RNS has had any sort of value attached to it apart from one. If there is a cash call at this level before the consolidation, it's goosed for some time to come! It is in the Companies own interest to attain a certain level of monetary valuation across its portfolio in Finland, and it needs to do that sooner rather than later, to facilitate a fundraising at a more acceptable level. It would do them no good at all to retain findings for a period, then release the 'good news' in one big hit. Might come too late! I just can't see the point of having a share consolidation without a better performing share price. Surely, if the idea is to attract more investors, then they must need some sort of reason to invest. Simply changing the share price from .3p to 7.5p isn't going to make any difference if the fundamentals and prospects of the Company remain unchanged going forward! The worrying thing for me is, have they got anything of any worth to release? How long do we wait until the lack of substantial progress starts to raise questions of validity and credibility regarding news releases?

Going to be a very interesting week or so for all involved in KDR!

Very good points Discusser.

I've said from day one that CGNR wouldn't do anything whatsoever until KDR reveal their hand in Finland.
Made that prediction almost four years ago and will maintain that.

Totally agree re keeping it all in the ground and revealing all of it when the asset build is complete.
Never write the Russians off though, I also called their trips to our side of the Karelian Craton first many moons ago and was laughed at for making that public....folk didn't laugh when their frequent trips were admitted though.
RTZ may well have the upper hand now, but will they hold in the end ?
Nordic Diamonds former geologist may strongly disagree.

Bang on with what you say re shareholder disagreement, yet KDR never seem short of investors willing to back this so called dog.......IMHO it's all part of a grand master plan.

The bigger the bag the bigger the buck: recipe for enormous success: keep it all in the ground in a state of uncertainty until you've found all you can and then close with RTZ and expose all of it.
Problem with this approach is that it runs into disagreement from shareholders who want to make less money sooner instead of more money later.
A second problem, of credibility, arises from shareholders who think progress at CGNR has been too slow and look forward with concern predicting a similar speed of progress at KDR (after the decision is made to develop a mine).
Alongside all this is the issue of whether/when/from where any necessary funds will arise to carry KDR's activities forward.

That seems to me to sum up the issues the Board need to answer on December 21st.

Goldeneye, they have to release something in the next few days worthy of a notable increase in the share price of there'll be mutiny at the AGM.
We all know diamond exploration is a laborious and painstaking mission but to leave Seitapera unspoken about for approx 4 years now is bordering on the ridiculous to be honest.
We knew from the visit 3 years to Dublin that the S project was left at 80/85% complete whilst the exploration was focused on Riihivaara, which seems to have now been left at a similar stage, whilst the focus moves to Kuhmo and Lahtojoki.
Given the September,October and November RNSs in relation to Kuhmo, I'd not hold my breath for worthwhile news from there until next year Bear minimum....not to say we won't get further sample news anytime due to ongoing analysis of the remaining 88% of the samples taken, but pure sample news won't cut the mustard with shareholders anymore.
Certain folk saw certain samples first hand in the summer, and yes, unfortunately the sampling takes an eon to complete.
Certain folk have seen certain and bigger samples even more recently, but it still won't budge the share price until a certain tonnage is breached and successfully reported.

Leaving Seitapera and Lahtojoki as the hopes for now for news to move the share price
Has to be decent news or the company are going to really struggle to attract new investors at a sc called more attractive price.
Still scratching my head at that to be honest....if it was good, it would attract investment regardless of the share price being being 0.32p or at 3 or 4p.

RTZ may well decide to fund Seitapera and Lahtojoki under a different guise whilst the Prof and Co continue independently and at the current rate of progress most indefinitely at Riihivaara and Kuhmo.

Re Kuhmo and Riihivaara, for The keener eyes get a detailed map out and a very good magnifying glass....then get measuring.

News most certainly needed immediately or the share price will slide further going into the New Year.
News from places then will probably be most convenient and timely.

Atvb.

I suggest you would put it on scenario 1

— company issuing results at last possible moment at christmas!
— bulls have headed for the hills , no sign of any posts from them , even the puppy dog is quiet.

At current levels, post consolidation share price would be 8.75p bid. Let's assume there is a cash call prior to the AGM at a discount to today's bid at, say, 0.0025. That would give us a post consolidation price of 6.25p going forward with another share overhang, and the prospect of any participants in the fundraising selling on at a small percentage gain. That would once again stall the share price and possibly cause frustrated holders to sell out, thereby keeping us in our current trading range for the foreseeable future!
Now let's say our Board release some decent news that includes some sort of worth that allows a more realistic and true valuation of the Company prior to the consolidation. The share price rises, to say, 0.008. That would give us a post consolidation price of 20p. With more positive news going forward, and a greater awareness of the value of KDR, more investors would jump on board, and if the news flow is as good as expected by some on here, then I don't see why a future fundraising could not be made at a far less discount to its then share price.

Two entirely different scenarios. I think the first would suggest that KDR are still some time away from any news of any significance. The second, that after a very long time waiting, the Company is finally moving in the right direction and providing true shareholder value.

Not saying which one I would put my money on at this moment in time!

KDR are going to need something significant before the AGM I suspect. I would imagine there are many flying in for the AGM who will not be happy, should the share price still be sub 0.5 by the 21st. To appease these shareholders, KDR are going to have to start to reveal the situation with Riihivaara/RTZ, Seitapera/Lahtojoki prior to 21st.

hxxps://www.linkedin.com/in/stephen-grimmer-72712348 Surely an RNS before AGM as to the Resource Dr Grimmer has been employed to manage. Perhaps KDR have an ace in the pack. TW would be 😡

So Karelian have a new Resource Develoment Manager. But there is nothing on their website yet, nor was there an rns to that effect. Looks like he is already an expert on Seitapera! It's probably not to manage Riihivaara or the green diamond play.....That leaves Seitapera and Lahtojoki. Wonder who is going to fund those two!

I am not DD1 - but it amuses me that a some should believe otherwise.

But (for the 'as-yet-to-be-convinced' contingent), DD1 appears to speak
sense - surely that alone, constitutes sufficient supporting evidence?

In the parallel universe known as the KDR BB,...........

RB is having qualms of conscience..... And that having brought the company to the attention of the skeletons of doom.....

Steve is supposedly backing up the truck to buy even more of his favourite share......

Goldeneye has once again proven that he is "loosing" it ( hilarious by the way"......).... While appearing indignant at the lack of info....

And sone of the seemingly sane posters like escape to home are waging a losing battle trying to bring some sanity to the BB....

All in all..... A great storyline for a Hollywood Blockbuster....... : ) all just my opinion of course.....

Not really the best time to brag about the size of your “enormous̶1; holding and put others with smaller holdings down. Small men used to buy big cars as a substitute now they become a significant shareholder in an aim explorer. Your missus won’t be happy with a chipolata and two button sprouts for Xmas dinner.

It would depend on the announcement. The content of the announcement might be relative to the share price (eg we are issuing new shares) or it might be a simple quantitative fact (eg we have JORC resources of £X and are activating the agreement with RTZ). In the latter case the share price would not go up by a factor, it would be decided by value.
