Board Committee Membership

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11(3), the Board of Directors of the Company announce that, with effect from 01 June 2018, Dr John Lillywhite (Company Chair) will step down as a member of both the Remuneration Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee.

Dr Lillywhite will continue to serve as both Chair of the Nomination Committee and as Company Chair.

The composition of the Remuneration Committee following Dr Lillywhite's step down will be Mr Tom Burnet (independent Non-Executive Director) as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and Mr Chris Cowan (independent Non-Executive Director) as a member of the Remuneration Committee and continues to be compliant with the UK Corporate Governance Code.

The composition of the Audit and Risk Committee following Dr Lillywhite's step down will be Mr Andy Malpass (independent Non-Executive Director & SID) and Mr Cowan as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and continues to be compliant with the UK Corporate Governance Code.

The composition of the Nominations Committee will continue as is, without any change.
