Well that is unbelievable. Surely that conclusion could have been reached months ago?

Anyway, pe here is 6, so any sell off is pretty daft.

An announcement next week is on the cards. This is what the company said in July:

The Company expects to publish its preliminary results for the year to 30 June 2012 in mid September 2012 and will make a further update on the formal sale process around this time.

How long does this take?

The company is upset that it can only update the market with a profit warning but is very frustrated that it cannot update the market with better than expected results.

thats the worry. Directors are spending so long on this that the business could be on the rocks by now - look at what happened at MXM

if they are planning a MBO they are conlflicted and it would make sense for them to talk down prospects too imho, to get a cheap exit????

Maybe you are right, but they said they would give an update around the time of the publication of the results in mid September.

Surely only if experience shows that more than 50 % of your dreams come true in which case I would set up a dream forecasting business and invest all my money in that unique business.

Yes, i think it should be around 240p but they are in the driving seat.

Anything less than 205p would be mean.....which was the placing price last summer when K3 raised £5.3 million.
A prospective PER of 8 whould be around 240p.
So between 205p to 240p is where I'd expect the offer to be made.
Anything over that would be a bonus.
