18/9/2023 11:30 | Only £53 for a business class upgrade - great deal for a long flight. | skyship
18/9/2023 09:47 | Sky, Too much on me personally but about 5-6kg in the daypack. It is classed as a beginners trek and so hopefully we will be eased into trekking in the region gently. If all goes well we will do some others in the area whilst our medical certificates are valid. Flying over in style now as the upgrade to business class was only an extra £53 each, which I thought was well worth it. Star, Have done the Annapurna circuit and the Langtang valley trek in Nepal. Beautiful country and people. | gary1966
17/9/2023 22:22 | Gary, twenty years ago I did a Himalayan Charity trek;; flying to Lukla from Kathmandu, and walking up to Tengboche monastery. Amazing experience but drank some fermented concoction at a Sherpa banquet on the last night which nearly killed me, literally !! | starpukka
16/9/2023 15:06 | Hampta Pass - amazing topography, pretty wild territory. How much weight do you have to carry? | skyship
16/9/2023 14:48 | India mainly but have to leave after 180 days and will probably head for Nepal as will be trekking season there at that time. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will feature. Return to India definitely to use the remainder of the 180 days we are allowed to stay, in each calendar year. Resign myself to being ill at some point, but will take as many precautions as we can. Water filter in the backpack, which will hopefully do it's job. Hampta pass trek starting a week today, so will see how we get on. | gary1966
16/9/2023 13:08 | Gary - don't eat salad & make sure you eat a nearly green banana every day for breakfast. | skyship
16/9/2023 11:51 | Wow. Fab, Gary. Where else is on the agenda ? | starpukka
15/9/2023 10:34 | Start of the big trip Sky. One way ticket with no return date. | gary1966
15/9/2023 09:58 | Bonne Voyage. Business or pleasure? | skyship
15/9/2023 09:43 | Decided to play the gap on PHNX at 512.60p with proceeds reloading SUK2 at just under 348p. FTSE toppy, oil toppy and so fairly confident FTSE will retrace at some point. Will now rise 500 points of course.😂 Off to India on Tuesday and so will be the last trade for quite a while. GLA | gary1966
21/8/2023 13:15 | Gary, yes still got it. But thinking about closing. | starpukka
20/8/2023 11:20 | A series of lower highs usually considered a bearish indicator. Bulls may take some comfort from Friday's 50pt rally off the low; however if we weaken again next Monday/Tuesday, then 6800 looks to be on the cards. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
16/8/2023 17:39 | Still got your SUK2 Star? | gary1966
16/8/2023 16:43 | Well, I've doubled up on my #epic SB around 69 after today's rise. Remembering the adage: when you see a believed opportunity, go in hard . | starpukka
08/8/2023 21:25 | Wish you well with that. Would be mighty unusual for a buyer to pay a premium; still, could happen I suppose! | skyship
08/8/2023 16:28 | Well, I have opened a long spreadbet on EPIC to add to my existing isa position; hoping the t/o is @ or above nav. | starpukka
07/8/2023 16:27 | Bathroom and a shower/cloakroom so definitely not posh.😂 Glad TRIN has recovered for you a bit today Sky. Flow test definitely what the market will be waiting for I think. No point having it in the ground if you can't get it out economically.㊃ | gary1966
07/8/2023 14:52 | Spangles - thnx for that on the virgin pressure. | skyship
07/8/2023 13:27 | Gary, 2 bathrooms; you are posh ! Nearly as posh as Sky. I'm still holding my SUK2 btw. | starpukka
07/8/2023 09:47 | Well done Sky | sleepy
07/8/2023 09:31 | Fingers crossed the well flows as per expectations, for all those who piled in. It's been TXP's problem over the last 3 exploration wells - announce a big find, then can't get it to deliver oil - but they are probing a deeper, more complex formation. As for your question on the thread, I don't follow TRIN (other than contextually for T&T as I'm in TXP) so this may need tweaking. Virgin pressure means that the formation has not been depleted by production from elsewhere. If the target reservoir was in communication with any other reservoir that has already been in production (either laterally or vertically), then the pressure would be lower in the target reservoir than pre-drill expectations. So the Lower Cruse in that location is sealed from higher formations, and also from production from the Lower Cruse elsewhere in southern Trinidad. As flow rate is proportional to the pressure differential that drives it, it bodes well for the recovery. (Please don't repost this on a TRIN board - as I've mentioned I don't follow TRIN operations closely, so my context may be incorrect) | spangle93
07/8/2023 08:22 | Common-sense returning over at TRIN. Great news this morning and the share price surely now set to recover to the 2021 levels. Still a great BUY, even after today's c20% rise... | skyship
02/8/2023 17:18 | Closed the M&G trade today as well. Was impatient and didn't wait for the gap to close but happy to have banked another profit. Just trying to cover the installation costs of two bathrooms and so I am being easily swayed. | gary1966 |
