Profit takers have gone, should start moving north again...volume is very low so any move up could be short lived without news...

Ollie's Linkedin profile: note the weighting for Vale and lack of re JLP in his Bio.
Though shows JLP able was able to attract a respected operator.

The Vale announcement states he's relinquishing some other responsibilities. He's only part-time at JLP anyway I believe.

I fail to see how exactly JLP have reversed the decline in cash since the last financials. I also have serious concerns over Leon's cobalt claims, the lack of sales owing to a softer price when you need the money just doesn't stack up against the issues they've had at sable and roan. Is the grade not as advertised or has Leon underestimated the sheer amount of energy, time and furnace stress incurred by the process?

Needless to say a lot of the mcap represents forward earnings that are now nowhere in sight. On the small issue of capex, JLP opted to dilute shareholders as an easy route to finance at a time of record low interest rates, so I can't see them going to a bank when when liquidity is at record tightness when adjusted to M2.

The question now is not what the earnings have been or will, as they're not going to be enough to take this back to a 500 mill company anytime soon but rather how low can this go?

Jubilee has millions of tons of copper waste bought and paid for. The only question is when are we going to be able safely from a financial standpoint to unlock the copper.
Leon stated that our then current balance sheet could support the BULK of the Capex but that was maybe a year ago when interest rates and availablity of finance was very different. If we need to build a new refinery, probaly best in the long run, the cost would be well outside of our current capability. However if we wait for a year or two copper prices may well be better ( or worse) and our copper will still be there. So I will be more than happy to realise our current plans and after two years our position will be very different; then we could safely add another 30k tons of copper. The increase in working capital required will alone run to maybe $40m at that time.

honestly .. we ARE suffering from the drop in PGM’s .. why wouldn’t we .. impacts on profit and cashflow when JLP are spending a lot of cash expanding. So it is going to be an interesting next 12 months when hopefully everything has been funded , copper comes into play ; chrome and hopefully PGM prices recover . Still cannot fathom what happened to Rhodium Friday .. anything from $2,700 to $4,400 ( per SB’s post ) and Kitco showing $6,900 🤷‍a94;️ . I know this .. Rhodium could fly if in short supply.
